I would be hard-pressed to think of a children's book with cheerier, more colorful artwork. These pictures are truly a pleasure to look at. Sadly, the text is about as uninspired and blahhh as it gets. It almost reads like nonfiction. And for a book that explains what the Easter Bunny is, that just doesn't work at all. It's really a shame, because who wants to read a boring book to little kids? I I think the author would do well to focus on her artwork, and let someone else write the stories.
3 stars only because it hurts me to give 2 stars to these sunshiney, heartwarming illustrations.
