Ledge, Lailah, and the baby budding in my belly made it so much easier to embark on a healing journey like no other. Their beautiful faces and the unwavering love they bestowed upon me left me no choice but to strive harder to become the better version myself. They deserved it and so did I.

This was a nice update on Ledge and Halo! It was great to see she’s on an upward trajectory towards healing! Halo has come a long way and it was refreshing to read about the positive changes she’s made and how patient and loving Ledge continues to be with her!

Sweet Halo
This was a cute little update, but I don't think it needed to be its own book. I would've loved to see this as a prologue in the main story of Ledge, but with a stronger ending. It would've given us a little more of Halo working on herself for herself and her family. It was nice to see her progressing and Ledge standing strong by her side, nurturing her, and supporting her and sweet Princess Lay.
I love how the family shows up for each other. I'll forever be a fan of the Eisenbergs!

I love Halo
Lordy, it was so nice to see Halo grow into this sweet person she was always beneath her pain. I loved that Ledge loved his woman to the point of being her breath if he needed to be her source of oxygen. How sexier can a man be? I am elated to see Halo doing better and thriving her way. The babies were the extra bonus for their family to blossom. I am so happy the author chose to allow us to see a stronger version of Halo. Thank you, Ledge for your patience.

These chapters would have made a wonderful addition to Ledge's book because Halo has come a long way and it was encouraging to read about the progress she's made and still how patient and loving Ledge has remained with her.

What a beautiful update on Halo and Ledge! I really enjoyed seeing the growth of Halo. Halo going to therapy is working, and she's becoming more trusting. This book made me wish I had given her more empathy in Ledge, but I'm glad I'm here now. Sweet update, and ready for what's next in the series!

We get to see how much she’s growing more into herself.
She’s being more open and willing to try, and make an effort.
I’m glad she’s coming more out of shell, and started working on projects as well. She’s progressing and working on her healing journey. I love to see it.
*This could have definitely been part of Ledge’s story, but Grey loves her little novellas so we can’t fault her for that. I appreciated the update nonetheless.*

Ledge Domino is a MAN
Listen, Grey Huffington keeps raising my standards when it comes to what I want in a man. And Ledge Domino????? If I could have any man, I'd be him. Everything I want. Is in him. Halo is a very lucky woman to be his wife. I love that he is an active participant in her healing and is so supportive of her. It shows he truly truly loves her immensely (see what i did there 😏).

Mini Review! Now yall know if it’s a novella following the main story I’m going to read it. And I was immediately drawn to read more of Halos story just to see how my girl was doing.
This novella was only about 50 pages long but it still showed that Ledge and Halo were going strong. Halo is now tackling all of her issues in therapy and learning how to trust the amazing woman that she is.
I loved this novella because it shows the growth in Halo. She’s become a full participant in her healing journey. The simple things she couldn’t do in the first book, are the things she’s working so hard to accomplish everday. And of course Ledge is right there beside her every step of the way.
If you want a small glimpse into Halo and Ledge’s life after the first book, this is the perfect wrap up ✌🏾❤️

I swear if a man is not the Eisenbergs or a Domino don’t settle ladies. Grey Huffington knows how to write about a good man Savannah. I thought I was 10 toes down about the Eisenbergs men, but Ledge is even with Luca. I love how patient he is with Halo. Its so good to see that Halo is still healing and doing so good with her progress. I love how the family shows up for each other and are supportive of Halo.

Enjoyed this short background story on Halo showing all that she had to go through in order to survive and to be able to have the type of love and relationship she deserved, happy she was finally getting the help she needed and the love, shoulder, and love from a man that didn't judge her for her path Ledge was indeed a good match for her.

This novella filled in the gaps. Thanks for that. Halo's innocence was her best quality. Even though she had been to hell and back, she still loved Ledge. He was her strength and her source of life. Like she said, "I know you shouldn't depend on people to complete you, I'm not whole without you." Beautiful

Just Fantastic!
This was such a nice look at this coup!e and the progress they are making in their relationship and individually. The writer gives us a look at what happens when you are making up and making progress. The fact the we get to see this man wear his love on his chest is just so so good good. I would so love to see this couple again and Halo on her Boss Lady duties.

I am glad I read this Novella. It was because of Halo that Ledge did not earn a 5 ⭐️ read for me. But this novella warmed my heart and gave me everything I need to make it a 5⭐️ read. It rounds out their story beautifully and shows a beautiful side to Halo.
The delete scenes from Ledge is a true bonus and I loved every bit of it.

Short and to the point answering all the questions left out. She was broken but had to fight that mental health to better herself. When I say that man continues to show up for her any and every way he shows up and shows out. He came in her life when she needed and found a way to stay there. We, the readers needed to know that she stuck to the trajectory of healing.

A Halo Update
“Halo: The Domino Effect” was a good novella update for Domino family. I’m particularly glad to read Halo is making progress with social awkwardness & esteem deficiencies. Thereafter, the epilogue was confusing because the events noted have already occurred. I’m not sure of the purpose 🤷🏾♀️🤨⁉️

short but sweet!
Really this book wasn’t needed but was good! They got married and having another girl! I don’t see how she is anymore healed than the last book. Seems she is able to be around people more and she is able to drive the baby to daycare and herself to therapy.

Loved it! To see Halo healing and now she's in a better place mentally too. Ledge ain't playing about taking care of her wholly! He also wasn't playing about her name change. I love the was really happy to see the Eisenberg's women surrounding Halo with so much love!

To see Halo in great spirits and healing is so exciting to see. She came a longgg way. I love that for her. Love Ledge. He such a supportive and patient man and i’m so happy they have eachother and striving. Enjoyed the deleted scenes also.

She doesn’t miss!!!
Grey Huffington paints a love that’s inescapable, and this entire series has been an incredible read. I feel like I know all the characters personally. I particularly loved Ledge and Halo’s story, as well as the portrayal of true love.
