The definitive tome of Rock Fashion! Fascinating!!!! The pictures are great, but the text is better- It offers a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of trends in British Rock Fashion from the Teds all the way to current times- If you are unashamed to admit that you are fascinated by the amount of foresight it takes to be a "Face" as it were, then this will change your life and inspire you afresh.

Things are different in the U.S., but if you love British rock n' roll culture, then you must also love fashion. The two go hand-in-hand. From the British Teds to the New Romantics to Pete Doherty -movements and personalities change consistently, but what stays the same is the relationship between music and the look of music. This is an excellent book on Briitish street rock n' roll fashion - the shops, the locations, and the basic energy that these clothing artists produced. It's rock n' roll to the max daddy-o!

A history of pop cultural fashion from the retail perspective - not just the high fashion, but where pop stars procured their clothes and how those tailors got their start. Very good popular history.
