I always enjoy reading the 1 Night Stand series and this one follows in the same footstep as previous books in the series. Two people who feel something is missing in their life and need to experience the ultimate pleasure, even if it is only for one night, using the services of Madam Eve.
Belinda wants to experience giving herself to a Dom who can make her feel complete sexually while David, who is handsome and rich and can have any woman he wants, craves to have someone who can give themselves completely to him and respond to him instinctively.
This was a really hot, quick read that will get you heart racing, your palms sweaty and other parts, well, you get the idea. This book definitely delivers in giving the reader some hot outdoor scenes and intense passion in the corners of a museum that will make you wonder how they were able to keep from having everyone in the party hear them.
Be warned this Dom likes to play with toys on his little subbie and torture her into ecstasy with some backdoor action.

This one has been on my wish list and finally got to read it.. I really liked the BDSM in it and just for the short and fast read of it left me wanting to know more and see how those two were doing in the training lol..

This is a good book that is made better with the mesmerising deep voice of La Petite Mort. I wish it was longer as this book is quite short.

This charity event is of course in public, now this could lead to some potential problems for the lead characters.
David “The Dom/Dominant” knows what he wants and goes for it. He is the epitome of tall, dark, and sexy! Sporting magenta hair, a nose ring, and tattoo’s Belinda is looking for a man that can take her beyond the normal realms of pleasure. She is a strong willed woman that denies her desires for kinky sex. Belinda isn’t used to being the submissive, but David will demand that she fully submit to his will.
Madame Eve, the woman in charge of 1 Night Stand -a dating website designed for men and women to find their perfect match- Brings David and Belinda together after she hears that Belinda wants someone to help her explore her submissive side. Will they go toe to toe, or will they show each other what can happen when two willing adults come together for a night of undeniable pleasure?
There isn’t much history telling with these characters, but we do get to spend one unforgettable night with them as they experiment with their dominant and submissive sides. I personally feel that this is part of what made “Learning to Submit” one of the best erotic romances I have read in quite a while.
This is a scorching read that lets you know from the first page that David and Belinda have an irresistible lust for each other. Not to mention David is one stunning hunk of dominant male! This short read instantly brings the reader into a blissfully erotic story, which will leave the letters S, I, & R, running through your head. There is no way that you can go wrong with this enticingly, wicked short story. Not to mention it is the perfect read for the most romantic holiday of the year, Valentine’s Day.

What can I say about the 69th installment to the 1 Night Stand series? Well I think I’m a bit shocked. The “act” never showed up. What a perfect missed opportunity!?!
Belinda WANTS more in her love life, but she actually NEEDS to submit. After much thought and deliberation, she is ready to give it a shot, because her usual lovers are doing nothing for her.
David is a man who knows what he NEEDS and it is a sub. What he doesn’t expect is to WANT Belinda with such passion.
Two lovers, all set for one special night of unbridled passion, forbidden sex and unexpected surprises.
What is the real reason I’m shocked? Let me see, Learning to Submit was a well written story, but it didn’t have all the magic I expect from a 1NS story. These two lovers knew how to scorch my reader, but that special Madame magic wasn’t there for me.
What was there was an unexpected surprise. I’ll forever be tainted when I go to a museum now. I’ll walk in with wicked thoughts and memories of some amazing secret sexual acts that can be held in tiny tight spaces. You always expect the cops, military and executives to be the Doms in stories. Well think again people, Museum Directors can be very wicked indeed. Wowza. What a wonderfully dirty, sexy man David is. He was another shock, but more to my system. I wish we could have gotten into his head. I beat it would be a very naughty place.
Learning to Submit had the sexual punch that I now expect from Erykah Wyck, but not the solid couple connection and spark that I expect from a 1NS story. It is still a very good story that will get your motors going and your pulse pounding.

Yet, after much consideration Belinda finds that Madame Eve may just be right and she takes the plunge and accepts her date and his rules for the night. David longs for a woman who he can be himself with and show his Dominant ways to. Once he sees Belinda he hopes she's the one, a woman who will be the sub to his Dom. Belinda's more than ready to try but is she ready for more than just the one nightstand?
Although I enjoyed this story, because it's so short I didn't connect with the characters on a personal level. It felt more like a scene in Belinda and David’s story. I did enjoy meeting these two and I would love to see where David and Belinda’s relationship goes from here.

I enjoyed watching David introduce Belinda into his world. The two make a nice couple. The heat turns up as the two begin their night and turns into flames as they enjoy themselves. It was nice to see these two interact. They truly seemed to be made for each other.

This was a very entertaining short story. Belinda is a woman who is discovering if she wants to be a submissive and live that life style 24/7 which is what David, the man she is meeting in this story, wants to find in the right woman. Despite David being a Dom and needing to be in control, I have to respect his honesty with Belinda. He was upfront about what his needs were and what he expected from Belinda. You can’t fault a man who knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to tell you what it is. Belinda, she’s not sure what she wants and is on a quest to figure out what it is. She’s still ambiguous about what she wants, but I like to think that she’ll know what she wants eventually.
The story ends with an open ending, which drives me crazy, I want to know what happens next! I think Belinda is going to choose this lifestyle with David, because I like to have a happy ending. I hope you agree with me if you choose to read this book, because we all deserve a happy ending!

In Learning to Submit we have two people meeting, having sex and determining whether or not their connection will move on to the next step. It actually feels like it should be the first chapter of a longer book. If you need something to read at lunchtime or at a doctor’s office, this is a good quick read.

I'm really enjoying these 1NS stories. They're quick, easy to read, well written stories with likeable characters and complete story lines that don't feel rushed or condensed.They tend to be a snapshot of peoples lives rather than trying to give their whole life story. Love scenes in most are HOT, and many (like this one) contain some elements of D/s however heavy (Learning to Submit) or mild (Catch Me - Jennifer Probst).
