Each of the authors in this book lay out their arguments very well and the dialogue between the views was appreciated. As with a topic like the Lord's Supper, there is going to be much exegetical, theological, and historical argumentation. However, I expected much more textual argumentation than I found. Moore's essay (Baptist/Memorialistic view) was the exception to this. I expected the Reformed view to have more biblical interaction and was disappointed to find none.

If you're looking to learn more about the distinction between Protestant views and would like more textual argumentation (particularly on the Reformed view), I recommend going beyond reading this book.
