I Wonder Why PLanes Have Wings by Chris Maynard is an example of a traditional children's book that teaches kids about how transportation works.Chris Maynard not only wrote the book but also did the illustrations,Maynard did a wonderful job illustrating the book so that children can see how different forms of transportation actually look like but he also made the pictures in bright colors to draw readers attention.Maynard's main focus on this book was getting out the information of different forms of transportation however there is no story to the book it’s all just stated facts which can be hard for young readers to show interest.Overall I Wonder Why Planes Have Wings is a great informational Childrens book,young readers who are interested in transportation such as cars,trains,planes,bikes and many more will love this book.

This is a book about the different ways of transportation. It teaches about; planes, hot air balloons, bikes, horses,boats and many more.It is a great way to teach children about different ways of transportation. It is very informative and has great illustrations.
