He was puzzled by the bizarre orders but thought nothing more of it until years later when he read a report that stated that not only had Joseph Milteer made threats against the president, but also that he claimed Kennedy would be killed from an office building with a high-powered rifle. Since that time, Adams has compiled evidence and research from every avenue available to him, including his experiences in Georgia and Dallas FBI offices, to produce this compelling investigation that may just raise more questions than answers.

The predominant thrust of this book reveals the disturbing cover up perpetrated by agents within the Federal Bureau of Investigation, both before and after the JFK assassination. As the front cover of this short book declares, this is 'A report to the public from an FBI agent involved in the official JFK assassination investigation.'
The author, ex FBI agent Don Adams was a young fresh recruit back in '63 when he was assigned to investigate a threat to the president, from a right wing radical Joseph Milteer. It was Milteer who was recorded by a police informant in Miami on the 9th of November '63, who predicted that Kennedy was to be shot, "From an office building with a high powered rifle, that would be taken into the building broken down and after which someone would be arrested for the assassination to divert attention from the real assassin."
Adams was always troubled by the official investigations, and this book recounts his own study and revelations of files in the National Archives, as well as missing files. The author was further troubled when he discovered a photograph showing Milteer stood in Dealey Plaza as the president passed by.

Consider the testimony of Mr Adams with Point 8 of the conclusions of the Warren Commission that:-
'In its entire investigation the commission has found no evidence of conspiracy, subversion, or disloyalty to the U.S. government by any federal, state, or local official.'

Input From a former FBI agent

Don Adams was involved in a small part of the investigation by interviewing Joseph Milteer who predicted the mode of JFK’s demise.

Throughout the book, Adams points out the discrepancies and missing information that robs the U.S. citizens of a clear picture of what really happened in 1963.
Unfortunately we are given more information, documentation and opinion, but we still are searching for the solutions to the puzzle almost 60 years later.
Sadly time is running out for the key folks who were involved in the search for truth.
This book was a good honest effort that further tries to illuminate the true events of 11/22/1963.
Read the book in one long session during the weekend. Some unique takes from Mr. Adams.

Don Adams was a young FBI agent who happened to have been assigned a very small role in the wake of the Nov. 22, 1963 presidential assassination. Joseph Militeer was a small player and a subject under investigation for making threats against the president two weeks prior to Kennedy's death.

However, years later, Adams discovered that files that he had written were either missing or altered which alerted him to a potential FBI coverup.

That Don Adams has a story on his hands is very evident. However, the larger point gets lost within numerous pages of FBI documents and a poorly constructed narrative that often repeats itself with mundane words or paragraphs.

This book is written by a former FBI agent who tells his version of the events leading up to and after the assassination of JFK. Many things involving this sad event in American history have yet to come out, are suppressed or just panned as nonsense by the media, or even worse, just dismissed by the government. This man writes from being there and leads the reader on a common sense journey using science and observation, fact and evidence. It is written pretty well and conveys it's message directly and concisely. There are things that if you have read or researched anything about this topic, you will notice are absent from even current investigations and media reports. Several things are presented here, heard by the writer while doing his duties. He was also told certain things to say and not say, involving the scapegoat for this evil deed, Oswald. What unfolds is evidence that has not been brought to light, such as the bullet hole in the front windshield of the car, and the fact that nobody seemed to realize JFK gripped the front of his throat. If shot in the back, he would have reached back to cover the entrance wound. Even worse the writer presents persons who were on tape, interviewed as saying that this was going to happen, stating that an office building would be involved, and a certain rifle used.
This book was an eye opener and really brought forth strong evidence and facts by a man who was right there when it happened.

good read. very interesting story of a 33 year old FBI agent investigation into a right wing extremist Joseph Militeers prophesy of a lone nut being set up for JFK assassination.
