All I can say is that I wish Art Laffer was running the state of California. I especially appreciated his explanation of fundamental economic principles and the nuances of the California legislative process. This book provides relevant background knowledge about all that ails the state in 2019. On a more hopeful note, Laffer does not stop at diagnosing the ailments, he actually provides a prescription for the cure.
