The Legend of Snow Wolf: Reincarnation is a fast-paced, sweeping tale of epic fiction in the Wuxia (martial arts) tradition. Warriors, battles, supernatural powers, prophecy, and destiny collide in a whirlwind of action, intrigue, and romance that links past and present. On the plains of the China/Mongolia border in legendary times, wolves and men fight for domination of the steppe. Suthachai, a young warrior, finds himself mysteriously poisoned. He will die a slow death unless an antidote is found, and all the clues as to who poisoned him point to the legend of Snow Wolf: once revered as a goddess, a great heroine, a master strategist, and savior of her people. Snow Wolf may provide the answers he needs to save his own life, but at what cost?

Embarking on a desperate quest to discover the secret of Snow Wolf, Suthachai becomes embroiled with the Dragon Lodges, secret and mysterious, who rule the land as enemies of Snow Wolf and stand in the way of his quest. Little does Suthachai know that Snow Wolf has already devised a plan—using him—to rid the world of the Dragon Lodges forever: if he can survive.

I always am in the midst of reading multiple books at the same time, it's just how I am, always multitasking!
When I received this book in the mail through winning the Goodreads First Reads giveaway, I figured I would read a few chapters and then get back to my other books I have been reading. Wrong!
I could not put the book down.
The story began with elements of intrigue, simple but intense. Following the warrior nomad from Mongolia on his trip to China to find a cure for himself, dying of a mysterious poison, he inadvertently starts a chain of events that have been divined over fifty years before by a legendary woman known as Snow Wolf.
I adore fantasy work and martial arts. The blend in this book is so flowing everything fits together cleanly and beautifully.
I do love dear old Old One's philosophy on life as well! I had to read that part to my friends around me at the time.
The novel left off just as the pace was coming to yet another climax, which left me truly disappointed not because of how it was coming to end but due to the fact that I do not have the second part on hand to read right away!
I give this book 5/5 stars and cannot wait to get my hands on the next part.
Thank you for your time in reading this review and I hope you enjoy this book as much as I do.

A fast paced, well written novel that is a breath of fresh air in a world of books that at times seem heavily saturated by the same plot and characters. Full review at http://t.co/5bnvlakR

I won this book on Goodreads First Reads and so I really wanted to love it. I tried for 5 days to read this book and I just... couldn't. I could not for the life of me get into it. I read 114 pages before I quit.

On the plus side, it is unlike any book I have ever read. I have never read Chinese fantasy so it was pretty interesting to try out that genre. I think that if you like Asian fantasy you will really enjoy this one. It was very well written and the story was interesting. The problem is that it just didn't ever fully engage me. I kept zoning out and starting other books.

To be fair, I'm not going to rate this one. A low rating wouldn't give credit to the author, who I think did a great job within this genre. I think this book is a very worthwhile read for the right person.

I'm not much on samurai stories and such, so I passed this book along to a friend. I have yet to hear the review about it, but the writing looked good and seemed engaging. Unfortunately I could not get in to it and gave up, but I think others might enjoy it.

Unfortunately, I didn't find this book as gripping as I normally like 'em.
