I read this book for my Bible Study: D Group.

I quite honestly lost interest in completing this book around chapter 10. But because I am a perfectionist at heart and can't leave a book unfinished, I finished it (3 months later).

A lot of these concepts were repeated over and over again - and I understand that this is a theme from Deuteronomy - and this MAY have been the goal of this lesson. But overall, this lesson did not do a good job of keeping me interested and wanting to continue studying. I felt there were chapters that could have been combined and simplified and for that I was lead to want to 'quit' or not be as involved with this study book.

D Group had us reading only up to chapter 13 and had us skipping the optional studies, but I feel a good bulk of the 'fun' part of this study is in the optional chapters!

I think K saw that this Life Change Series had a study on the psalms which I would like to give another try to see if it was just Deuteronomy or the series that I got 'burnt out' with.

I really enjoyed this LifeChange book. The questions were engaging and made you look up various scripture to deepen your understanding of Deuteronomy. I found myself thinking of what I studied during the day.

The optional lessons in the back enhance the study. I will be buying other LifeChange Bible studies.
