Though one or two points rubbed me wrong, I really enjoyed and appreciated this book. It was a challenge and an encouragement in a time when I was weary in the youth ministry I'm involved in as a Young Life team leader.
Lovingood is easy to understand, and his wealth of experience was boiled down into the "vital" pieces of during youth ministry. I appreciated that this was specifically addressing the unique opportunities and challenges and strategies that come with youth ministry in particular.
I'm excited to implement (and re-prioritze) the principles in this book.
Simple and practical. For those who need a leadership primer this will help. While it aims at the student ministry leader, it has application for any church leader.
