Amish fiction. First book in a series. This book is written as a diary, covering several years in the life of the main character, Miriam. Beautifully written, great characters. A relaxing book that was a pleasure to read.
A quick, simple read. I was curious to see what these books were like, haven't read any others by this author. It's a sweet, gentle story, strong religious content, nothing really unexpected.
