A trio of erotic stories, filled with passion, desire, and ecstasy, includes "Night Secrets," in which a private investigator uses a special method of interrogation to make a beautiful woman reveal all of her secrets--in and out of the bedroom. Original.
Jodi Lynn Copeland lives with her husband and two children minutes from Michigan’s state capital. She learned early on that family and friends and love and laughter are the most important ingredients in happiness. While attending Central Michigan University, she discovered her love for writing and that those same ingredients blend for the perfect romance. Over the years and across the genres, Jodi has found that one thing remains the same…a dash of heat and humor and a heaping spoonful of love make for the best recipe of all.
Jodi’s books have received various awards and commendations, including 4½ Star Top Pick reviews from RT BOOKclub Magazine, Recommended Reads from The Road To Romance and Reviewer’s International Organization (RIO), and nominations for such awards as the National Reader’s Choice Award, the EPPIE Award and the Lauries Bookseller's Best.
Three stories in this collection that revolve around three friends so they're inter-related - which I like.
My least favorite story was the first one "Night Moves" between two co-workers, Jillian and Brendan. This story made me reluctant to keep going because I couldn't imagine having to read more stories if they were like this one. But "Night Secrets", which is between Jillian's friend/co-worker, Tawny definitely gets better when she meets up with undercover P.I. Andy. And the best story of the three (saving the best for last, maybe?) is the "Night Illusions", a story between Andy's sister, Joyce and Colin.
The good news is that each story gets better than the previous one so if you can get through the first story...keeping going - you'll be glad you did.
I really liked this book. It's one of the better collection of novellas, and the characters are very loosely connected in a good way. The women and men are all likable and the sex scenes are steamy hot. A good winter read that goes quick but still pleases!
