A great intro into Tala’s world - be sure to check the trigger warnings - otherwise enjoy diving into this new story 😄

Tala is a broken women. She lost her mother, mate, daughter, and unborn child all within a short 4 years. She is a lone female leader protecting those in need in a dark dangerous misogynistic world. She is not perfect, she falls more that she runs, but she keeps getting back up. Her beta Sera and her witch, Night help to keep their pack running while Tala recovers and tries to form a plan to survive the aweful Wolf Council that seems fixated on having a men's only club and treating all women as mere play things. The ending leaves you ready for book 2...

This was a great 1st book by Tay Rushing! The story was so compelling that I could not put it down and read it all in one sitting. I'm really looking forward to book two. If you are into paranormal (wolf shifters, panther shifters, witches and dragons) this will be a great read for you!

This was a great 1st book by Tay Rushing! The story was so gripping it kept me on the edge of my seat but also heartbreaking!
Alpha Tala has been through unimaginable pain and we get to witness her journey in healing. Being a rare female Alpha in a world that caters to males has been no easy feat. This tough female main character has been struggling to get back on her feet after a terrible loss but it turns out Tala has lost more than she even knew. The villains were truly awful and I really wanted to punch them in the face more than once! Thankfully she has a great friendship and support group. This is a fast paced, interesting story with twists, spice, turmoil and characters with conflicted feelings.
If you love wolf, panthers, dragon shifters and witches then this story is for you!Can’t wait for book 2!

Wow I don’t even know where to start.
This was such a fantastic story. The author has an ‘easy to read’ writing style, there were well developed characters and clear and descriptive world building.
I really felt for the FMC, she’s been through so much already over the past few years and life isn’t getting any easier. The villains were truly awful and I really wanted to punch them in the face more than once! Thankfully she has a great friendship and support group.
This is a fast paced, interesting story with twists, spice, turmoil and characters with conflicted feelings.
I’m completely hooked and can’t wait for book 2.

I absolutely loved Cursed to Submit and if work and daily life hadn’t taken up so much of my time I would have easily devoured this book in one sitting.
From the start you can’t help but to feel for Tala and everything she’s gone through. But her support system? Chef’s kisses!!
There are also some unexpected turns that keep you on the edge of your seat and adds to the need to know more. The sprinkle of spice in this was great but definitely make sure to check the TWs.
Wonderful debut novel and I’m itching for the next book.

Tala has lost a lot, and her hardships are not over. The wolf council wants to fight her and take her counsel seat, they dont believe a woman should hold it. She has many sides working against her as she battles to stay on top. Luckily she has some amazing allies. A great beta and delta and witch on her side. She also might have a secret ally waiting in the dark, or he could be a foe. This was such a great read it had me screaming with so many emotions

This is a great first book in a paranormal romance series. It has heartbreak and joy and a dab of spice in just the right places. I look forward to reading more about Tala, her pack and her true mate. 😁

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It's a good read for anyone looking to read a good book about shifters with witches and a badass female alpha. Devoured it in one day which is rare for me cause I'm such a slow reader, but this book kept me wanting to read on.

What a awesome first book from this Author! This is a Paranormal Romance series. It has a little of everything that you will just love! I can’t wait for book 2!!!

This book was so compelling from beginning to end. In the beginning when your reading it feels like you are missing something, but everything is revealed in the last quarter of the book. I gave it 4 stars because there are some grammar and spelling issues to get past and sometimes it seems so fast paced you really have to pay attention. But otherwise I loved the shifter animals and witches working together against a common enemy.

This book was very good, I loved the FMC and her growth as a character. I am not really a fantasy girl, nor do I typically read shifter books, but the storyline was worth it and really easy to follow storyline wise. She did a great job with character development and I would definitely read her again!
