Lovely 1850 Cruden's has beautiful gold writing intertwined with gold ivy decoration along with giant ATS interlocking emblem, a masterfully made book from 140 years ago. Fraying at top and bottom of spine, moderate corner rounding, superb inside. Printing is small, but an excellent font is used and the pages are not faded, so this is entirely useable.Rev John King of the GreyFriars Presbyterian Church in Scotland provides a fascinating introduction why this edition is useful and needed after so many earlier ones. Many additions and upgrades both by editor Eadie and the American Tract Society. A real rare treasure. Cruden died before 1800, providing the best work for Bible study at that time and still a great one today.
