Rate this book
Three teenaged orphans have to save the world in this wild, fast-paced adventure story set in a land reminiscent of East Africa. The Third Harmony is the first work of fiction by bestselling author Mawi Asgedom, whose books Of Beetles and Angels and The Code have sold more than 200,000 copies.

Reader feedback includes:

"My son read The Third Harmony in two days and liked it so much that he decided to read it again over the weekend! He is telling everyone about it at school and wants to know when the next one will be out."

Scott, parent of 7th grader, Illinois

"I think that your book was awesome and the front cover is wonderfully illustrated. The characters, Twid, Him Too and Iwala are very interesting and the plot of the book is very intricate, it includes many things in it. Just to let you know, I love the genre and have never read a fantasy book based in Africa. It was so good that I read it in one day, I just couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved it."

Kael, 16-year old, Ontario Canada

I have read all of Mawi's non-fiction books and have taught his auto-biography in my classroom many times, so, when I saw that he had written a novel I was eager to read it.

I found the book very interesting and enjoyed learning about the characters and their society, traditions, and history as the book progressed. I fell in love with the characters and at the end found myself searching Amazon to see if the next book had yet been published.

I cannot wait to read the next one!

Both my 10 year old and I read this so this is a combined review. I found it a quick and fun read. My son loved it. Hope there will be follow ups.
