Hello! Thanks for visiting my site. First, I’ll introduce myself, my name is Logan Grey, which is an homage to my two favorite X-Men, Wolverine and Jean Grey. I recently completed and published the first novel in a planned series entitled “The Honor Bound Series.” Through the efforts of nearly 10 years of writing, a fantastic editor, beta readers, critique partners and an insanely talented graphic designer, the first book called, “The Price of Her” was published in June of 2021. “The Price of Her” is available on Amazon in print and eBook format.

The 2nd instalment of my series is currently with my editor and has a planned release for later this year. The working title for book two is, “A City of Ghosts.”
I read once that you should “write what you know” which is why my story takes place in Savannah, GA where I lived for 10 years, met my current life partner and most of my friends.

Once my dystopian series is complete, I’m going to try my hand at high fantasy. Some of my favorite authors in this genre include: Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan, George R. R. Martin and Brandon Sanderson. My biggest goal is to create characters that my audience will care about just as much as I’ve cared about the heroes in the books written by these legends. I’ve got a three-inch stack of printed out computer paper under my desk that represents 300 pages of my first attempt at fantasy complete with a crudely drawn map! I have some fun ideas for this series and can’t wait to experience a high fantasy adventure that I get to control.

This is my life’s work. I do it because I love it and because I only feel like myself when I am writing. A day spent doing something I’m passionate about is a good day. I hope to one day make a career out of my passion, so half my energy and time isn’t spent on the “day job.” I want to tell a story that brings someone to tears, or makes them laugh out loud, or go searching in their underwear drawer for something with batteries!

I didn't think I was a big fan of paranormal romance...until my wife pointed out to be that all the Sookie Stackhouse books I read a year ago fit right into that category. The 9th Dimension falls into that category, too, and it's a well-told, gripping story that leaves the reader hanging at the end and hoping for a sequel.

The book stumbles a few places in the opening, but don't let that deter you--soon, you'll find yourself enmeshed in an unconventional love-story replete with demons, succubi, and jinn. The characters and plot are well-defined, and the pacing of the book is spot-on. If you're a fan of L.A. Banks and paranormal romances in general, this book is definitely worth checking out.

I received a copy of this book for free from Goodreads through the First Reads program.

There's something off about this book that I just can't put my finger on. It should have been good. The ideas and the story are all there, but something just kept bothering me and kept me from getting into it. The writing style felt jilted, and there were many, very obvious spelling and grammar errors. I checked at one point to make sure I wasn't reason an ARC. I also never really felt any connection with the characters.

That's not to say it's a bad book. It's really not. But I can't say I liked it either.

Sometimes you just dont know what to expect when you begin to read a novel. That is where I was with this one. Adrian knows what she wants and that is and has always been Nikolas. Unfortunately, when they finally have their moment, he tells her they should have never taken that step. Adrian is devastated and decides her long friendship with Nikolas must end. This part of flows a little too fast and we don't g et to connect as much with the heartbreak and feelings of both Adrian and Nikolas.

The Paranormal aspect of this book comes out of nowhere. Nikolas has a "friend" who visits him every couple of months and when she gets wind of Nikolas's feelings for Adrian, her jealousy leads to the death of Adrian (Via demonic summoning of a Jinn). Nikolas is devastated having lost the person he only just realized he loved.

Adrian is held captive by the Jinn and not dead as anyone believes. When Nikolas finds this out, he decides to go on a mission to save her, after recruiting some help from unlikely sources.

This was not a bad book, there were parts of the book that seemed a little disjointed, but overall I think it was a great premise and story line. I wish we would have had more of a connection to the characters and I would have felt more invested in what was going on.

Action packed, this story is definitely a paranormal thrill ride.

I received this book as a goodreads giveaway.

This book perplexed me from the beginning. I feel like it was stuck between being an anthology with too much filler detail or being a book with not enough character development or explanations. I really liked the basic plot idea, but I think it kept getting sidetracked/lost by events not crucial to the story that were included simply to make it longer. Typically when you read a book you know who the main character is and you begin to be attached to them and care about their adventure. With Adrian very little detail or back story was given so I didn't really care when things went wrong for her and was confused when so much detail went into explaining the "villian" and their whole back story. I put the book down several times, but kept picking it up hoping I had been wrong and the story would grab me if I had just kept reading. Unfortunately, I felt the same when it ended as when I put it down the first time. I think the author had a really strong idea for the book, but it missed the mark for me somewhere.

I'm not really sure what I think--this is not a genre I typically read--Supernatural beings. However, I did read it in one sitting!!
