Unchanged gives the reader an inside look at the debilitating effects of a devastating disease, through the eyes of the afflicted. Love lost and found twists through the storyline and asks whether the ties that bind can last through such upheaval. The mind blowing ending is amazing.

The characters are well crafted, the storyline is thoughtful and provocative, while the artistry of the author shines through. There are some typos, but none of it detracts from the writing.

I am anxious to read other books by Ms Elkins and confidently recommend this book to anyone who wants an interesting and dynamic read.
