Another excellent read from this series. It was gripping and tough to read in parts with reading what the victims went through. So many twists and turns always wanting to read faster to find out what happens next. Karen is truly one amazing young woman and you feel so close to her through the series. I am now too g to read the next book as I can't wAit to see what is next in store for karen and if her luck continues to hold out. If definitely recommend this series as well as this book. You won't regret it that I can be sure of. Happy reading! 🙋
This is action adventure at its best. So much going on, a little on the edge sometimes, but only when essential. Karen is a strong willed girl, except at times the mask slips showing a very unstable and often emotional side of her. I read People Trafficker and People Traders, both about the same girl, however, only in this book do you get to understand just how she ticks. Would I recommend the book? I will have to say a yes, yes and yes to that. I felt after reading the entire series I have a far better understanding about the subject, even if poetic license allows the writer to go a little over the top sometimes. But of course this is fiction based around reality and we all want our hero or heroine to win out, if not stay alive.
I liked this book, which is sort of the further adventures of Karen, but I'd have to say not as much as the first two in this wonderful series. She is by now a seasoned operator, confirmed in her army rank and now with a special team organised to rescue the victims of trafficking. However for me she's lost some of her naivety and vulnerability that was probably why I liked her so much. Still a good read and another great action adventure keeping you on the edge of your seat and desperate to know what's going to happen next.
