CASSIDY'S COWBOY, Book 6 in KAREN ROSE SMITH'S Search For Love SeriesNever-before-published novella Cassidy Sullivan has secrets. Her mom died when she was five and she'd never known her dad. A life in foster homes ended up with her on an icy road in a hot-wired car on her way to trouble. An accident and a kind widowed rancher took her in and taught her the meaning of unconditional love. Last year, her twin sister Lucy (from book 4, Search For Love, ALWAYS HER COWBOY) had found her through using psychic Gillian Bradley. Now Cassie wonders if Gillian can help them find their father. Before they can begin, Cassie meets Ben O'Donnell her foreman's nephew. Ben is a wealthy CEO who has brought his daughter to Twin Pines Ranch to help her recover from her mother's abandonment of them both. Since Ben spent summers on Twin Pines under his uncle's watchful eye when he was a kid, he knows the value of ranch life. He's hoping it will bring his daughter Julie some much-needed happiness. Neither Ben nor Cassie count on the immediate and potent attraction between them that goes deeper than chemistry. If Cassie confides her secret to Ben, will he turn away? Even if he doesn't, what kind of future can they have if they live a country apart? The search for a father and true love is a lot to handle at the same time. But Cassidy Sullivan isn't your ordinary cowgirl, and Ben O'Donnell could possibly become CASSIDY'S COWBOY.

A contemporary western romance, the sixth book in the Search for love series by Karen Rose Smith. This is Lucy's twin sister Cassie and Ben's story. Of course Cassie needed to find love and a family after passing through foster family to foster family since she was five years old when her mother suddenly died in an accident. She finally finds a home at the Twin Pines Ranch. Cassie has a big secret and each time it comes out she is traumatized by the people that are supposed to love and care for her.
This is a sweet YA romance, so don't worry about letting the young ladies read this one. They have one sexy scene but it is only suggested and nothing graphic is mentioned other then that they 'become one'.
This story really makes me want to look further into fostering children because we have lots of love to share and our children our getting older. This was edited and a light romantic read. I got this free for kindle but I could have found this type of light read in the Harlequin presents bundles.

The book I thought was interesting and intriguing as well. It starts as Cassie and Lucy starts to find their father and later later on that Ben and Cassie get involved with each other in their difficulties in life. Ben has his concern about is the daughter as Julie had her concern whether to tell Ben about her inability read At the end they ended getting married and Casssie starts to learn to read in a class room setting.
