There are 36 hours left until the end of the Level Run. Only the top three finalists will have the chance to meet with the Dark Sphere and request its help.
I'm fifth. And I need to make it into the top three. Because that's the only way I'll be able to save Anya...
It did it in a very quick, forced way. This seemed more like the author was just ending things rather than an organic, natural finish. When the things glossed over in your epilogue have more substance than your story you may be burnt out with your book.
The other reviews have it correct. The author gave up. There’s only 2 sections you need to read/listen to- the end of competition (ie rewards/mtg w dark sphere) and the epilogue. Save the other 9 hours.
While not a horrible series the main character is very much a Mary Sue and a bit of a narcissist making him not very likeable. Additionally the author clearly hasn't traveled a lot or really thought about people as the characters and places are all very one dimensional leading to the world feeling very fake and regularly pulled me out of the story feeling like interactions between characters and the explanations for the events just don't make sense. The upside of the series is that you don't really have to think as it's all spoon fed to you so it's good if you don't want to work for what you are reading. All in all I wouldn't recommend it unless you are very burnt out like I have been in which case it's easy and won't really take much out of you besides your time.
Tldr: There are better litrpg stories out there telling the same thing in more interesting ways.
A very definite major progression of the story, and a probable ending point if the author so desires it. Based on it's ending, there could be more in the series, but I'd not be surprised if the author was done with this particular series. It was pretty well done though, so there is that. If you liked previous books in the series, this one won't disappoint, in fact, it wraps up things quite nicely. No idea if the author plans more books or not, but if not, I'm ok with the story as it is now.
I loved the journey of this series, but was disappointed with the ending. Andrew the protagonist was explored in depth. He had an intriguing and unusual class with some fascinating spells also edplored in depth. The story, pace and prose were all well done an interesting.
This final novel was disappointing. It ended sp rapidly, I got the feeling the author lost interest in the story and characters. The threads (and several more books) were summed up an a few pages.
Absolutely brillant. What a ride. But I think its the end of the series. Very well done and perhaps its best to end while at the top. I really hope there is more to come. I wonder whats next. I am defenitely buying it.
Literally OP but that’s how most LitRPG is. To really make sense and ‘win’ they have to be. The epilogue ties up so many things too. Great way to finish the story. And makes me wonder if there’s any off shoots of the series.
It was a good book to read . The fight sequences were to long especially at the 50% point of the book. A lot of those got so boring I skipped through them.
one of the best series I've ever read. Probably the best one at tying loose ends and leaving space for imagination for more. Even what annoyed me to no end became something great lol
