Thirty plus years ago I heard a call, which said, in essence, “your mission, should you accept, is to leverage the power of business for the greater good and in the process to make your work a path to learning, growth and development.” While I didn’t really know what it meant or where it came from, wherever it came from, I decided to heed the call, and to begin a lifelong journey.

This journey has taken me to many places to live & work including Caracas, Austin, New York, LA, Santa Fe, Baja California, & the San Francisco Bay area, and to various industries including music, natural products, fitness & publishing, working on projects and building companies including Private Music, the career of Yanni, Spinning, Seeds of Change, ChiRunning & Working for Good.

After more than thirty years, I now find myself at the core of the Conscious Capitalism movement & of Conscious Capitalism, Inc., the organization catalyzing the movement.

My work spans the range from Activator (one of the founders of Conscious Capitalism, Inc.) to Author (of the award-winning book Working for Good: Making a Difference While Making a Living & newly released It’s Just Good Business: The Emergence of Conscious Capitalism & the Practice of Working for Good), Producer (of Conscious Capitalism events & a weekly radio program entitled It’s Just Good Business ) & Process Facilitator (designing & leading workshops, meetings, Conscious Culture development programs & Stakeholder Engagement Marketing™ campaigns).

I also serves as executive director of the Being Human project & executive producer of Being Human events.

I love surfing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, ChiRunning & moving in general. I am also an actively engaged, full-time single father of a teenage daughter.
