The most comprehensive brief handbook available, the fifth edition of THE BRIEF WADSWORTH HANDBOOK provides students with extensive coverage of rhetorical concerns, the writing and research process, writing and researching with computers, visual rhetoric, the habits of a successful college student and other topics essential for 21st century student writers.
Don't get me wrong, it's very pretty, the cover is nicely designed, I agree with the grammar/punctuation rules, the little tabs are handy...
But...sorry, Wadsworth, I was already seeing someone. His name is Gregg...and we went out for two years before you came along...
Not only that, but the price is pretty high, and I'm already a bit of a grammar geek, so I don't need to look up that much...it's not like the Bible, where you need to keep studying it. If I know what a comma splice is, then I don't need Wadsworth around to tell me...
So it's not like this book is bad. I just DON'T NEED IT. Sad waste of $40...
But Torrey made me do it, and Torrey is worth it. ;)
