If I manage to find the old-school edition my Mum has on here, it will get 5 stars.

How exciting was it, with a birthday in the wind to pour over this book and choose your own birthday cake!!

I don't think I know anyone whose Mum, Dad or Grandma hasnt at some time made them a cake from this book.

I call dibs on Mum's copy when I have kids...

We got this book for FREE from an op shop, and this is our go-to resource for birthdays and parties! It uses Aussie/British-based ingredients and measurements, but that fits us perfectly here in NZ.
