I still find this one of the best and most immersive tabletop skirmish games out there. The rule book is wonderfully written, with the right mix of rules and background story. By the time you are through, you have a relatively good grasp on the rules, but more importantly, you get a good feel about the kind of magical place the ancient ruined city of Mordheim really is. This game and this book set the bar for many other games that followed in more recent years.
