~Sigh~ It was such a relief to see that Kyler and Robbie were still going strong...and not only that but Ky has really turned over a new leaf and finally became the man that Robbie needed. The surprise and how it was delievered was pure brillance...I didn't know Ky had it in him, he was amzing.
This is a great Christmas follow up to Black Heart Down, of the Conquest series. S.J. You have to find a partner for Brad, the series can not be completed until Brad finds happiness too ( please give him Remy).

The Conquest series has been my favorite series of rockstars since Jesse met Evan in the very first book, and I was more than excited to read this short story that starts just a few months after Kyler and Robbie finally said goodbye to their incredibly tumultuous and at times torturous relationship and hello to a happy, domesticated life. Now it is Christmas morning and Kyler has woken up early to surprise Robbie with a very special, and snowy, Christmas morning.
I really enjoyed this short story, that is not only delightfully steamy in it’s own right, but so sweet, and therefore inherently different from most of Black Heart Down, where we see Kyler and Robbie’s very rocky relationship for the first real time. Though I know most of my enjoyment of Beautiful Harmony comes from knowing the couple so well from their previous novel, there’s something really deliciously sweet about seeing what feels like the real ending to their story, almost like an epilogue to the novel, because the most of their long history was very painful to read. They’ve had a very, very hard life together (and frequently apart), with Robbie pining for Kyler and being pissed at him what seemed like most of the time, to Kyler taking decades to admit to himself that it is really okay to be attracted to men. So having this sweet and loving story is a perfect ending to their relationship and a really nice way to meet up with the couple again so many months after Black Heart Down.
It really is necessary to have read the series before this story (at least BHD) because not only is there so much history to Rob and Ky’s relationship, but without having seen what the couple were once like, this story could come off as incredibly cheesy. Yet, all the gooey talk worked for me because it showed that the couple had gotten to a point where they’d left the turbulent emotions and fights behind and allowed themselves to sink into a kind of domestic bliss that is independent of their rocker lifestyles. There are a lot of other little things that I loved in the story as well — the way that we see all the old stars and supporting cast from the previous books brought into the story, as well as the mention that Brad is now the only member of the bands not coupled up (I can’t wait for that book!).
SJ Frost is an author that writes books I always seem to fall right into, and this series continues to remain my very favorite when I want to read about some bad boys learning to be good (oh man, now that was cheesy!) But you know what I mean :)

This is book 5.5 of the Conquest series by S.J. Frost. It's a short Christmas story featuring Kyler and Robbie. It was really great to spend some time again with the boys. It's Ky and Robbie's first Christmas together in their new home and Kyler has the sweetest surprise for Robbie to wake up to on Christmas morning. It's nice to see that Kyler really has changed his ways. He's so much more mature than he ever was. They are the most adorable couple and they are smoking hot together! This was a great Christmas story!

I looked so forward to this book as I loved this series and I was just so happy that Ky and Robbie finally got the perfect ending they deserved. This book just left a smile on my face.

YAY! HEA for Ky and Robbie. What a lovely, romantic story for these two after all the angst of BHD! Loved the Christmas morning surprises and of course the wedding. I hope we get to see more of these guys in the next Conquest book. Shannon, you rock!

After Black Heart Down this book revisits Kyler and Robbie six months down the line and their relationship is damn near perfect. Kyler is a different person since taking ownership of his sexuality and letting the world know who he really is. Gone is the angry man and in his place is someone very much in love with his partner. Robbie is thriving on Kyler’s love and this will be their first Christmas in their new home.
It couldn’t get any more perfect!

Beautiful Harmony is a short, sweet, feel good Christmas story. It was nice to see how Robbie and Kyler were doing a few months after BHD ended. There is no real angst or drama, its just a nice little look into the characters lives. I love seeing little glimpses of characters lives after their main story has been told. Because Robbie and Kyler had such a rocky start, it was especially nice to see a glimpse into their happy ending.

This was a marvelous short depicting more of the loving relationship between the two main protagonists we met in Black Heart Down, Kyler and Robbie. It was lovely to see a bit more of their happily ever after, especially since it took those boys long enough!

Kyler and Robbie's first Christmas together as a out couple. Snowmen, a marriage proposal, a fire in the fireplace, sex toys for gifts it all adds up to make a great short story.

Beautiful Harmony features the characters from Black Heart Down, a spinoff from the Conquest Series. Robbie is overjoyed by Kyler’s significant proof that the only true gift worth giving to another is the gift of love. Kyler and Robbie have loved each other since high school, although it has only been recently that Kyler could openly communicate his feelings for Robbie. Finally out in the open, Kyler does exceedingly well in demonstrating his true personality to Robbie, both in spectacular examples of intimacy in addition to other marvelous illustrations of affection.
S.J. Frost’s characters’ update encourages smiling, warm tingles, moments of awe as well as the urge to cheer. I thoroughly enjoyed Beautiful Harmony.

Sweet, short story about Kyle and Robbie taking their relationship one step forward. It really was sweet, but also overly gushy, which seems pretty unrealistic to me. I know I am not a cynic...I just don't think that so many people express their feelings as the characters in these books. That said, it was still enjoyable, and I was happy to read more about Kyle and Robbie's HEA.

What a great look at Kyler and Robbie after Black Heart Down. Robbie really deserved something special and I was glad to see Kyler pull through. I loved them in that book and I am glad to see that they got their happy ending.
