When Madison Montgomery joins Native American artist Walker Armstrong's wolf re-population project, he sees her as
just another city-bred female dabbling in the latest trendy cause, not unlike the last woman in his life. But Madison's motives are more complex. Not only is she sincerely attempting to bring back the wolves, but she's hunting the man who raped her best friend. As Madison teaches Walker to trust his heart once more, he teaches her it takes passion to free the soul.

Madison Montgomery was headed for the Wolf Project wildlife in Michigan. She was on a mission to seek out justice by exposing the rapist that made her friend kill herself.

Her investigation came to a dead end with Walker and his men they proved to be innocent. She had to look outside of the cabin and look at the bar called Last Chance. Could the rapist be anyone there? Madison is treading on dangerous grounds will she be able to expose the perp before he rapes someone else?
