Different point of view

I liked how this had a different point of view not typically seen in other 9/11 books. It has so many different interviews, while short they are detailed and succinct. I really appreciate the effort gone into this book. I also appreciated that it included pictures of the fallen.

A very well put together group of stories from the firefighters who attended the twin towers at various stages during 9/11.

Heartwrenching and emotive their stories are a humble and moving testament to their buddies who died. Very descriptive I warn you and their bravery shines through

Wow! What an excellent well researched book of first hand perspectives of fire fighters that were there in one of the worst days in history. Kudos to the author for also including pics of every fire fighter killed.

Touching well-written and respectful from the , NYPD and PAPD point of view

Incredibly moving account of the Hell the Firefighters faced on September 11th . It breaks down everything the Firefighters used, all their vehicles and procedures and what they're still dealing with after the terrorist attacks. A must read!

I was hesitant to read this book. Though I was not directly involved, it's country-wide effects affected all. I wasn't sure I could handle reading personal stories. I am glad I did though. Great heroics. Great sadness. A no-holds-barred book that does not hold back.
