Inspiring

I would say more but I am off to see how far I can walk these arthritic joints start to hurt.

OK, I will do this first, but only to say that Dr Chris has given me new insight into what my body is saying to me. His work is eminently readable - I love his sense of humour - and the illustrations really work. And what he says makes sense. I think he has devised a good.way to recondition my body and reassured me that I can make a difference to my aches and pains... which is, after all, why I bought the book in the first place.

This book is a delightful read. Lots of information in a very succinct and easy to understand format. It’s not overdone with medical jargon and complicated diagrams. The illustrations are cute and adorable and the information is superb. As the author says… “ No pain, no gain, but don’t overtrain!”
Highly recommend this book to people who have any kind of chronic pain or are experiencing more pain and they are used to as they get older.

This is a self-help book on dealing with our bodies in health and in preparation for possible sickness, and what to do when they do go wrong, in spite of what we do - or don't do - beforehand. It's written in ordinary language so that most will be able to read it, and follow what the doctor recommends.

The book is part anecdotal, part explanation. I dipped into it periodically between other reading material. As I'm a seasoned veteran of managing my own bodily trials and tribulations, I didn't learn anything new. I can recommend it for anyone just starting out on healthy living. Lots of suggestions.
