That Dahlia was one evil broad! Hard to believe her and Liberty were blood relatives, they were like night and day mentally. It was like Dahlia had no conscious. This book seemed a little rushed to me, I thought I missed some parts because I was listening to audio, but no it was just shorter. Liberty definitely deserves peace and happiness and hopefully she has found it finally. I'll definitely read the other series by Ashley and JaQuavis because I'm judging from this book that the story spin off is written within another series.

The 3rd installment of Murderville : the black Dahlia was so damn good. I was happy when every1 got what they deserved. I did feel some kind of way about Po and Liberty but I understand where Liberty is coming from and chose Rocko.

"Murderville 3: The Black Dahlia" was a good read and I enjoyed it. Once again the hunger for power and money continues to ruin people that crave these 2 things in life. I think there was a message in the book, involving the relationship between, Po and Liberty. Po thought the "grass was greener" on the other side but didn't know that he was being betrayed the whole time by the devil. He learned a very hard lesson in this book and he paid for it by losing 2 people that loved him and were the most loyal to him. I also think Dahlia, learned a valuable lesson as well "Greed conquers all” and she paid the price with her life.
I was totally thrown off by what occurred with Liberty and Rocko, it was something that I would not have expected but I liked it. Kudos again to Ashley & JaQuavis!!

I’ll start off by saying I was pleasantly pleased with this finale. There were some stale parts that we could’ve went without because they were portions to what sounded like exact word for word call backs… but maybe they felt it necessary ? My girl Liberty has been through a lot but I’m happy she has finally found her footing. Also very happy there were points of redemption even though it took way longer than anticipated but I guess that calls for a good story? Still tryna wrap my hand around the Rocko plot twist but I suppose I’m not too mad 🙄 lol. Overall a good series and it has me wanting to indulge into the world of Ashley and JaQauvis more!

'Liberty for one, Liberty for all...'

Liberty is back in the path of flying bullets, but these are meant for another. She's still causing mayhem and chaos with every man she mesmerizes with her beauty and innocence. Liberty's cousin, Dahlia, lulls Po into her wicked web of lies, deceit and greed and gleefully ousts Liberty from her palace as 1st Lady. Dahlia's manipulative and conniving ways have severed Rocko and Po's friendship and have them pitted against each other as enemies because of lies she planted like seeds of poison. Finding himself the target of his 'man's' wrath, Rocko has to choose between allegiance to his lifelong friend or to his ego and the game. Many snares ensue as all the snakes shake, rattle and roll and murder after murder occurs as money and power is sought.

Murderville 3 re-introduces A&J's enthralling characters from days gone by. Baron's appearance and scenes were my favorite, they were endearing yet bittersweet as they brought back the remembrance of Ashai. Several powerful were scenes set up but failed to be executed to their full potential. I felt no true pull toward any of the characters that have carried this trilogy and truthfully thought that it read as if it was stretched. I never experienced the explosive dynamics that I expect when I note the A&J stamp. 3.68

Gripping from start to finish. I enjoyed this series emensely, I was so happy for Liberty in the end for overcoming the many challenges and obstacles that stood in her way. Her story is a great example of how certain people come into your life for a season or a reason to help guide you on the right path. Po loved Liberty but for the wrong reasons, he was there to bring her out of the situation she was in & Although they were together briefly Dahlia was there to bring Liberty and Rocko together. I loved the plot and the depth behind the story it was so deep I did not want it to end. Ashley & JaQuavis are my favorite writers as long as they keep writing the hits, I'll keep reading them and if you have'nt read any of their books I encourage you to do so, you won't regret it. Another Goodread folks, this was definately worth the wait!

This was a great book. It was interesting from start to finish. There was never a dull moment. I was glad when I seen Liberty was alive and not killed in part 2. I was shocked to see that Po continued to be with Dahlia. He was one sick man. It was good that Rocko stuck by Liberty the entire time. I think Liberty made the right choice at the end of the book. I was thrilled to see Dahlia finally get what she deserved. Karma is something serious!! I give this novel two thumbs up. ...

Good book. I feel like as if something was missing though. I could have done without the long flashbacks. Even though Dahlia gave a little flashback of herself, I felt like they weren't needed. I'm think everyone got what they deserved.

I found Book 3 more interesting than both books that preceded it.
I still couldn't get into the characters of Liberty, Rocko, Po, & especially Dahlia, but wanted to know more about Barron, & hoped that The Cartel 7:Roundtable Of The Bosses would've capitalized off of bringing him to the table. But, A & J wasted a chance to do so in TC7.
I was relieved when Dahlia got what she so needed though.
I thought that Liberty should've focused on herself & left both dude alone. But, she had a baby by her ex's former friend which doesn't make much sense. But, whatever, I guess.
A & J need to give readers a more official Roundtable of The Bosses. I felt cheated with what they'd done with the characters from all their other books; they focused mainly on Carter & Anari, & pretty much abandoned all Millie, Brick, & the others in TC7.
Side Note: I think that ANARI gave something to CARTER so as he could fake his death & go off the radar of the FEDS (who still want him behind bars) while he & she develop that Rebe plant to release & get them both rich. JMO.

Possible Spoilers:

I was happy to see Liberty's growth in this book. She just seemed so weak in the first two but she grew and took her freedom. Never expected the whole Rocko situation. Po is a straight sucka. He is weak. The way he allowed Dalhia to get in his head and manipulate him. What happened to his strong mind and will power?
I am happy that Barron was able to finally accept Liberty. I hate that A'shai had to die for him to take the time to get to know her. However I respect him looking out for her in every way that he did.
I wonder if the five families signed off on Dalhia's death. I mean she was officially approved by them. Being that I've already read (listened to) The Cartel series, this installment of Murderville answered some questions to the Illuminati as well.
Overall this was a good read. I have fast become a fan of A&J Coleman!

So I was really rooting for this last volume and to no avail it didn’t hit home like the other 2... very disappointing... this last one took a lot of unnecessary turns; things were conjured up and thrown together at the end.

Ending was “cute” but I’m still at a lost for words at this last installment could have really been good. I also didn’t like the fact it seemed like the authors were lackadaisical in a few chapters, literally did a copy and paste of a few chapters from the first book. Too many questions arose for me... Dalhia was too unrealistic- Po’s character became extremely weak, I wanted to smack Liberty throughout the whole book... she was just too weak- always crying, and the Illuminati.... they were going everywhere with this one.

All in all, this one was just okay.

Ok. I wanted to like this series, but it was all over the place. Disjointed, unfocused and filled with unnecessary drama. Also, the end wasn’t... it didn’t make sense. Rocko and Liberty don’t make sense at all. It would’ve been better had she ditched both Po and Rocko and went to college and just made a life for herself. Men have been her problem all along. She needs to be alone for a while. I hate that Liberty’s so damn needy and weak. Makes no sense, seeing as how she’s been though so much and survived it. Anyway, done done done with this series. It had potential, but lost its way very early on.

-This one (Murderville 3) was a great ending to the story! Although Liberty is weak, she’s such a sweetheart and I’m sooooo happy that she finally got her fairytale (*inserts a happy cry emoji, lol*). She deserved to win.

-I couldn’t wait to see what would happen with Dahlia!!! This book was the perfect example of how “blood doesn’t make you family”.

-I love Rocko! He is such a good man and loyal person. I can’t say that about Po though! Po was selfish and he definitely didn’t deserve Liberty. I’m so happy for Rocko , Liberty and King (insert happy cry emoji again, lol)!!!!!!

This was a great book and I really enjoyed it.

This was a nice closure to this series, my first series by Ashley and JaQuavis. I will definitely be reading more from this duo. In fact, I've already started the Cartel series. Rocko was my favorite character. I hope to run across him again in some other books. I was happy for a happy ending for Liberty since she had been through so much in her young years. I'm also glad that Dahlia got exactly what she deserved. By this installment, I was so over Po. He was weak and just down right stupid at times. It's amazing how men can be manipulated by a coy, sly woman. SMH...

I love the happy ending. I was surprised of the love entrance with Liberty and Rocko. I didn't like Dahlia and her being accepted by the African mafia. I was glad to see her get hers though. I hated her and her character in both books. I whould have liked to see where Pos character ended up and a conclusion of what happened to the murderville ship and that racist evil bitch Beth....selling little black kids. Smh.

Man this series was def a top five fave for me. First of all fuck Dahlia and ya know what fuck Po too while we’re at it 🤣. Po&Lib=Carter&Mia iykyk. I loved how this intertwined with the cartel series while you wouldn’t have had to read the Cartel to understand the books but there were a few mentions . 5 stars easy read. The way this ended is everything bc Liberty really beat all odds and deserves it
