Un peu long à ce mettre en place, pas le meilleur livre de Clancy.

De moment pinta be. És la 1a. part del llibre, com sempre sontan extensos que s’ha d’editar en dos parts, dos llibres. Continuo amb la 2a. part.

Mientrás que en los dos anteriores libros de Jack Ryan veíamos a una China agazapada en segundo plano orquestando las escaramuzas con otros paises en primer plano, en esta ocasión China está lista para tomar las riendas de su propio plan para, finalmente, lograr lo que tanto anhela: los recursos naturales de Siberia, aunque para lograrlo tenga que iniciar abiertamente un conflicto bélico con Rusia.
En esta primera parte del "El Oso y el Dragón" se sientan las bases de la historia, describiendo y situando los actores de la obra.
En concreto, algunos de los actores que se encuentran en China son indirectamente los causantes de que se involucren otros actores globales que impediran que, como había planeado China, el mundo pueda llegar a ver el conflicto como un tema local sin involucrarse hasta que esté todo terminado en una política de hechos consumados
