The only rules Sam Goodacre has for his precocious triplet daughters are no dogs and no matchmaking. The single dad only wants to move forward after his wife's death. As a member of the LOVE INSPIRED series of Christian romances, I tend to think of their books as "brain candy" - nice, sweet stories that don't require a lot of thought to read or understand. The plots are usually pretty simplistic and you know that it will all work out in the end. This book is no different. When single school teacher Polly Bennett moves to town, one of the very first people that she meets is single dad, Sam Goodacre, who has a couple of rules for his band of merry triplets: 1) no matchmaking; and 2) no dogs. It doesn't take long for the school teacher and the triplets to help him break all his rules - in the name of love.

I love a book that contains matchmakers and children. Even better are matchmaking children. Imagine my pleasure at three matchmaking triplets. When three adorable first graders think it's time for their daddy to find a wife, preferable the new school teacher; they will stop at nothing to make this dream become a reality. I love Annie Jones' sensitivity in dealing with the loss of a spouse and mother and yet bringing healing and love into the story. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone that loves a good romance...and children together!

Caroline, Hayley & Juliette, all want Miss Polly Bennett as their new teacher, but only one will get her. Polly is delighted that she gets Caroline because she is the different triplet. Polly and her identical twin sister Essie had issues growing up an Polly would like to help Caroline if only her widowed dad, Sam could understand.

DNF this one around halfway. The characters just were making no sense to me. I couldn't understand why Polly immediately felt like her entire life had to be making sure the triplets were happy, to the point where she can't even keep a stray dog, because hearing about a dog when they can't own one may cause them emotional distress?! I understand Sam wants to protect his daughters, but his methods are so completely unreasonable that I just couldn't really get behind him as a person. The writing was very disjointed; I felt like I was missing chunks of this book. All in all, it seemed to be shaping up into a fine little story, but was just so illogical that I decided to give the rest a pass.
