Hands down this is in the top three books I’ve read this year! I read daily, and can read almost 400 books in a year’s time. So this three in one anthology should be a chart topper. Two authors that I’ve read in the past, and one I read every single month, Jacquelin Thomas. I hadn’t read Mrs. Ray in a very long time as I wasn’t aware she ever penned Christian fiction novels. While Ms. Mason was a new author to me, she didn’t disappoint in continuing the story of these other two stellar novelist. My only disappointment was that the book had to come to the very last page. Totally awesome characters in all three books. Caleb and Grace, book 1. Polar opposites that are forced to work together for the annual choir completion. Grace is VERY traditional in her music choices, and Caleb is VERY new age. Grace wants what she wants and is initially hesitant to compromise. But Grace has a deep seated reason on why she only wants traditional music. Can these two work together for the good of the choir? Can a romance even possibly blossom between these two opposing talents?
Book 2 by J. Thomas is the story of a passed over musical director that really wants to be on top again. He finds his planned new start in a small Texas town as director of a church choir. Not his preferred path, but Pilgrim Rest has a voice talent that Bradley is sure can be mutually beneficial to himself and the talent. Upon his arrival, and much to his disappointment, he encounters a talent in the choir that absolutely cannot sing and the other talent is no longer able to participate. Desiree Coleman shouldn’t even be in the choir and he has to hurry up and clip her wings. They both have strong desires for their reasons to sing, but they are not for the same purpose. Is there anyway that Bradley can get this choir ready? What is he to do about Desiree? Why is he suddenly feeling a certain way about this no-singing, choir-ruining lady?
Book 3, F.Mason-if forced to select a favorite, I would choose Book 3. I loved the two central characters. Pastor Holloway and Charys Shaw. These are seasoned characters that are offered a second chance at love. They once crushed on each other, but from a distance.
The writing flowed seamless between the three authors. Each story was individually strong, and putting them together was a three-fold blessing!
