In the early 23rd Century, vampires learned how to travel back in time, and created a time-tsunami that threatened life as we know it, until they corrected their mistake. They created the Chronometric Conservation Agency, which is tasked with preserving history and therefore protecting humanity's future. The Touring arm of the Agency offers trips back into the real past, with vampire guides, called travellers.
When Natalia (Tally) Marta, vampire and traveller, takes her client to visit the siege of Stirling Castle in 1314, she is caught and held hostage for ransom by Robert MacKenzie, a Bruce clansman. Rob finds himself drawn to the wilful, stubborn and very different English lady he has captured and the relationship becomes an intimate, highly-charged sexual pairing. Swiftly, Tally and Rob realize their bond is more than sexual, that the emotions stirring their hearts are true.
Christian Lee Hamilton, vampire, one of the last true southern gentlemen, and Tally's ex-lover, knows the 1314 time marker enough to jump back and help Tally return home. His arrival at Bannockburn adds complications, for Christian finds himself drawn to Rob MacKenzie as much as Tally is. But neither of them can stay in the past forever. To do so means certain death.
WARNING: This book contains two hot, sexy alpha heroes, frequent, explicit and frank sex scenes and sexual language. It includes heart-stopping sexual scenes between the aforementioned Sexy heroes, menage scenes, and anal sex. Do not proceed beyond this point if hot love scenes offend you. No vampires were harmed in the making of this novel.

2.75 Stars And this is what convinced me Time Travel books are not for me. There are plenty of steamy intimate scenes. And great characters. But the jumping back and forth and the world build gave me a headache. This is a very complicated book to read. For me anyway. I will say it's a very interesting story but just not for me.
I really struggled with this for most of the book. The book had two narratives running at once, one in the 1300's and one in 2200's which I found jarring. I couldn't get into either story because it would be (almost) one scene in one time, the next in another.
But I stuck with it and at the end it all came together and made sense so I raised my rating from a 2.5 to a 3.

I think vampire time-travel menages are going to be my new pick-me-up genre. Because I liiiiiike them. A lot.
So. Time travel. Vampires. The potential for BAD, BAD things if history is not maintained. Honestly, I like ALL THAT. Throw in a rousing round of sexin' with a braw Scottish man who has a very open mind and things get even better.
While this is ultimately Rob, Tally and Lee's story, there's also a whole lot of plotting and maneuvering going on with the vampires in the present. Or the future. Or however you want to look at it. They're holding steady as they wait out the events taking place in the past. Events which could affect all of them in some way, shape, or form.
It's very complicated and fun and sexy. Did I mention the complicated part? Because on top of having to make sure that the past stays as it should, things are about to happen in the present/future that could put all vampires in jeopardy. Added bonus: the secondary characters all seem to have a lot of baggage and I can't wait to unravel their tales.
Bottom line: sexy vampires who can travel through time and have wickedly hot threesomes are just my cup of tea. *thumbs up*
This beautifully crafted story has so much to it than it appears at first; the storylines are creative, the characters surprise us – over and over again- , and it’s so very well written that everything gets tied up in the end. It seems like the beginning of a series with a lot of twists and couples who are impossible not to cheer for!
The couple is adorable. The dialogue is solid, the chemistry is great but not enough description about the characters, mainly physical.
I felt not enough desciption about the setting or the characters, some of their refelctions sounded forced at times, but nothing that would ruin your experience with this title. It’s focused on dialogues, amazing secondary storylines that warped up well in the end, and a secondary cast of characters that beg to have their story told.
I recommend to readers looking for a different and creative story with a lot of sex involved, when it’s not the main focus. Sci-fi and historical romance readers will very likely enjoy it. Made for time travel fans.
I don't even know what to say after reading this book. TOTALLY BIZARRE. I had no idea that you could combine Highlanders, historical romance, vampires, futuristic and science fiction along with menage, m-m and a truckload of anal sex and actually produce a story, but this author did it. Weird does not even begin to describe it. I'm not going to say a word more about the book as I feel that it would ruin it for others, but it was just a little too sci-fi for me and the m-m facet of this book felt very, very forced.
Tracy Cooper-Posey has cemented her spot on my “auto buy” list with her latest release, Bannockburn Binding. The first in BELOVED BLOODY TIME series, Bannockburn Binding takes the vampire, time travel, futuristic, and M/M/F genres and meshes them in such a way that only Tracy Cooper-Posey can do. I’ve never been a fan of futuristic, sci-fi or time-travel books, but the characters and worlds that Tracy builds for her readers is impossible not to love. In Bannockburn Binding, vampires have learned how to travel through time. In the 23rd century, the Chronometric Conservation Agency was formed to help keep history from being changed and causing damage to the future. Vampires work for the agency as time travelers and take clients on trips back to the past.
Natalia (Tally) Marta is a vampire traveler who has taken a client back to Scotland in the 1300’s. There, she’s captured (being mistaken as an English lady) and becomes involved in a smoking hot sexual relationship with Robert MacKenzie, a Scottish clansman. When circumstances keep Tally from returning to the agency, her ex-lover and fellow vampire traveler, Christian Lee Hamilton, jumps back in time to help bring her home. Plans quickly change and we soon get the pleasure of enjoying Tally, Rob, and Christian’s sizzling relationship taking place in the past.
Intertwined in the Tally, Rob, Christian story line is a cast of supporting characters that are just as intriguing. While our threesome is back in Scotland, there is a lot going on back in the future at the Agency. While reading the book you wonder if you are simply being set up for future books in the series or if there is more going on. Twists and turns throughout the book keep you guessing until the very end when everything gets wrapped up neatly. Even without a cliffhanger, I can’t wait for this series to continue. There are so many different ways that Tracy Cooper-Posey could take this storyline and if history truly does repeat itself, I’m positive she won’t disappoint.
This is one of those books that you start to read and wonder where is the Author going with this. It is as if two stories are being told that are slightly tied together until the last few chapters when it all comes together in an amazing twist that had me blown away! The characters were unique and original, the romance was a bit on the erotic side which is usually not my cup of tea, but I read it as I did like the underlying story and wanted to see how it ended. Could the Author have made the story without the erotica? I think it could have been done and quite tastefully too. I also was quite surprised with the menage scenes as this took a great time traveling romance and turned it into borderline p@*n. I feel it definitely took away from the story. Don't get me wrong, I love Paranormal stories that have romance and I do not mind sexual scenes being played out but it does seem that many authors are trying to jump on the Erotica band wagon thinking that it makes for a better story. This is one of those stories which could have had less but(t) action and more character development and been a 5 star. I would like to say I would give it a 4 but once the menage started to happen it is as if the characters lost their sparkle and besides the baby...nothing happened until the jump home. On the home front, we had the mystery of who Charbonneau really was and what did he know. The relationship between Nyara and Ryan was tense and tangible as they both fought to control their true feelings from showing. Definitely had a lot of twists and turns that will keep you very entertained and looking forward to book 2.
Thanks to the Author for the chance to read this hot futuristic-Scottish-paranormal romance!
First off, I would like to say I really enjoy Tracy Cooper-Posey’s writing style. After reading this one, I am definitely interested in reading additional books for her backlist, especially Blood Stone. Who can resist a book with 2 heroes? ~ a sexy man on horseback and a time-traveling, vampire. Not me! The three get tangled in a ménage that is very erotic. The sex scenes are super HOT!
I've just started a new relationship with another awesome author! I'll be keeping my eye out for future releases!
Disclosure: This ebook was provided to me free of charge by the author for the sole purpose of an honest review. All thoughts, comments, and ratings are my own.
Interesting take on the vampire genre. I really like the idea of them being able to jump back in time. And the idea that they become human again when they do is pretty cool. The whole future world thing could have been explained more though. Especially since it seemed to be so amazing! I like the whole vampires in space thing too lol. It's a good way to get away from humans. And that twist??? Who would have ever thought?!
All in all, not a bad book at all. The sex was woah... And the ménage scenes were... Oh man... *fans self*
I've read so many historical/time travel books that disappointed me. This one? It was AMAZING. In fact, I'm going to read it all over again just so I can savor the different POVs better. I was really, really surprised by this book. In fact, I just bought Byzantine Heartbreak without even bothering to download a sample. I never do that. Never.
Ms Cooper-Posey has done it again. Pulled me squarely into her world with some yummy alpha men who aren't afraid to love each other as well as a woman. I enjoyed the time-travel aspect. I enjoyed the vampire world building. I enjoyed the future world building. And will definitely continue this adventure through the rest of the series! Well done!
OMG No spoilers from me...just read this series!!!
Just finished one of the best m/f/m time travel books I have ever read! Ms. Cooper-Posey is now on my favourite authors list at the top! This book will have you riveted from the beginning through to the twists and turns to a HEA for the decades! I can't wait to continue following her characters.
A great start to a series that definitely drags the reader in to wanting more. Bannockburn Binding is an original, erotic paranormal read that many fans of the genre will enjoy!
I'm not a huge fan of stories that jump back and forth from the past to the present, so this one kind of bothered me in that aspect. Then, adding to my confusion, there seemed to be all these people who didn't really fit--as if the writer was setting up for future books. (For me, unnecessary people adding to my confusion.)
So...Apparently, vampires are real and they can time travel. One vampire, Salathiel, went back in time to kill the vampire that made him, inadvertently creating an enormous time wave (tsunami) that nearly destroyed the world. The Chronometric Conservation Agency (which is headquartered on a near-Earth satellite/space station) is in charge of making sure nothing like that happened again.
As a side hustle, they offer time travel tours with vampires acting as tour guides. The only catch is that vampires can't stay in the past too long. The symbiot that makes them vampires in the present (and keeps them young and healthy) goes into stasis in the past and, if left in stasis too long, the vampires body will begin to deteriorate; if they don't return to the present in time, they will die.
Dun dun dun!
Natalia takes a client back to Stirling Castle in the Scottish Highlands in 1314, where they are captured by Robert Bruce McKenzie (a cousin of and soldier for Robert the Bruce). There is a lot of jumping back and forth between1314/1315 and "present-day" 2262/2263. Natalia (Tally) finds herself in a situation that no traveler has ever faced before...a life-or-death situation whether she stays in the past or tries to return to her present.
There is also the mysterious vampire Charbonneau. He approaches the Agency asking to become a traveler (which, apparently, never happens), but he does not reveal us true motives. What its he up to? Can he be trusted?
There are other characters as well... Justin, Pritti, Tinker, Ursella Shun... Cael Stelios, who I think will feature in a future story...and Gabriel, the Psi-Filer (whatever that means), who is on the verge of starting a war.
Yeah.
I will give kudos to the writer for excellent world-building. I think the only problems I had were with understanding who/what Psi-Filers are and dealing with some of the mysterious backgrounds of some of the characters. (Mysterious backgrounds = Big Twists!)
I kind of enjoyed this book, but I'm not sure if I'm up for the next one.
💕A standout plot of a love spanning the centuries💕 ByAvid Readeron July 11, 2018 Format: Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase 👍👍This is the story that got me hooked on Tracy Cooper-Posey's world of time travelling vampires and introduced me to menage romance. I was first drawn to it through its Scottish setting, then to Tally, Rob and Lee and their heartbreaking love story. The impossibility of the logistics for them remaining together in 14th century Scotland was so poignant. And the imaginative final twist as they make the decisions necessary to fight for Tally's life was so unusual that this story has stayed in my mind over the years as an excellent example of a complex and standout plot. It's also got a lot of MF, MM and MMF 🔥heat!
There are quite a few characters to keep straight in the 23rd century part of the story and I now realize that this is an introduction to them that will be followed up with more stories that focus on their romances. Here, it adds tangential plot that helps distract from the mystery of Charbonneaux, a vampire who simply appears without warning at the ChronometryTime Travel headquarters volunteering his services, until his surprise revelation in the climax.
I read so many books that, even with the good ones, it's often hard for me to recall what drew me to an author or a particular work. Bannockburn Binding is a notable exception.
Such a great read. It was truly brilliant and all inspiring. Very, very, creative throughout the entire book. I fell in love with the characters, their world, and their life their time span. Each character was well-thought-out and written very realistically.
Every time you start to get a feel for the book and think you know where the story is going, there's a twist or turn. Each one of those twists or turns was very creative. I'm so glad that I took the time to read this because I surely didn't put it down until it was done . The ending was one of the best I've read in quite some time, absolutely did not see it coming until it happened and then you stop and think of everything and now it makes sense. It was well thought out and plotted, very very creative. WELL DONE!! laughed, I cried!
***** Bannockburn Binding: Book 1 of the Beloved Bloody Time Series ***** An incredible story which includes both futuristic aspects in the 23rd Century, and historical properties in 1314 Scotland. Each viewpoint is equally engaging and believable. Vampires have learned to travel back in time, and it is a vacation opportunity for some. Vampires revert to “human” when back in time, and must be fully rested and strong or experience severe results.
Vampire Natalia runs into snag in her return. She is held for ransom, and falls in love. We get to see both “sides” of her dilemma as she does not return on schedule. Many threads here; those back in history, those in the 23rd Century, the relationship and the complexity of the rules of time. Mind-bending and romantic.
I really liked this one. I think it had good characters and a cute premise.
There's a lot of world-building you don't expect in a simple menage romance (well simple... but vampire time travel etc etc).
The beginning is a little weak: A lot of jumping back and forth between povs. Too fast so it's jarring. Also I think Rob and Tally fell in love a little too fast for my tastes.
Wow! I tried this author for the first time not knowing what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised and not disappointed. This story has vampires, time travel, sci-fi and romance all in one and Tracy Cooper-Posey makes it work and keeps it interesting too. I truly enjoyed this book, took me a few chapters to get the hang of time travel but once I got involved I didn't want it to end. I look forward to her next story in this series.
This could have been a good story. It should have been good. Interactions between characters felt forced. Time travel was never clear. The voice of the characters was flat. If you don't mind all that, then you will probably like it. Just be warned...there are a lot of plots and genres mixed in one book.
It was ok. 2.5 stars. I think this book has an identity crisis. It can't figure out if it is a paranormal historical romance/erotica with too much sci-fi and time travel or if it is a sci-fi time travel thriller with too much sex in it. I got annoyed with it halfway through because I was reading it for the romance and then got a history lesson on the vampire plight on Earth. Confusing.
3 1/2 stars for this naughty book. The time jumping back and forth between the settings was a little annoying, I found that it distracted from the story even if the ending needed parts of it. I wanted more of Rob, Tally and Lee. It was definitely different.
Tally and Rob and Lee end up together in Scotland in the 1300's after Tally takes a tourist back in time and Rob kidnaps them. Lee comes to her rescue only to find Tally pregnant. Time travel and vampires, and lots of hot, steamy scenes. Interesting concepts of time travel too.
I couldn't put it down ... I love the way Tracey weaves the characters together in the timelines! Always setting the stage for the next set of character's story to unfold and prepare you for the next book in the series! I'm on my way to it right now!!
I read this book under my Kindle Unlimited membership, and purchased it afterwards. Very good read, good characters, and steamy love scenes. What more can you ask for?
