Twins LaRae and Lauri were identical in looks and voices, but had very different interests and personalities. When they fell in love with the same man, Jass, they went separate ways. LaRae married him and had a daughter, Susie, now 5, while Laurie moved to California and has a successful modeling career. The twins die in a car accident and proceed to heaven where Emy, an angel, tells LaRae Susie is in danger and she must return to protect her. LaRae refuses and Laurie, playing their old switcheroo game, takes her place, pretending to be LaRae.
But Laurie knows next to nothing about LaRae’s life back in Minnesota. She keeps intending to tell Jass the truth, but dreams of Emy reminding her Susie is in danger prevent her from doing that. Can she play the game long enough to protect Susie and win Jass’ love?

Edna Curry lives in Minnesota and often sets her novels there among the lakes, evergreens and river valleys. She especially enjoys the Dalles area of the St. Croix Valley, gateway to the Wild River, which draws many tourists who give her story ideas. Besides non-fiction articles, she writes mystery, romance and romantic suspense novels.
Edna is married and is a member of the Romance Writers of America and one of its chapters: Northern Lights Writers.

This book is superb! A great plot that doesn't fall short. As a reader you follow Laurie' s journey wondering with every page whether her discovery will happen. Strong characters, teasing plot, spiritual undercurrent that drives her motive, a bit of nooky to spice things up, a beautiful little girl, cute dog, & an unknown danger. A well deserved 5 star

I really enjoyed this book. Lots of good twists and awesome plot...very good read..the ending was kinda ugh because it feels like a cliffhanger..left some questions not answered lol but otherwise loved it
