Although it had outstanding pictures, after a review of two non-fiction texts on the same subject, this did not impress me. There are accuracy issues and it is kind of boring, reading like a textbook. I won't be recommending the "Living Wild" series in the future unless it's just to see some great photos.
I was excited to read this book, since Whales are my favorite animals, and I was not disappointed. A perfect, compact read that gives you all the necessary details and shows the beauty of these creatures.
