I like to get into a guy's mind and have him do or say exactly what he's feeling at the moment, and sometimes I shock even myself! I consider my stories soft erotica; one man, one woman, heterosexual. But since abiding love is always the happy ending I'm looking for, my couples are always monogamous. My guy would never share his woman with anyone, and she is always enough to satisfy him. Since I believe that love starts with lust, my stories are always highly sexual, explicit in nature, and hopefully totally satisfying to my readers. I hope you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

THOUGHTS
Juvenile, aggressive, obsessive, and controlling is what came to mind reading this book, but I can’t help it, I loved it. Lynda Chance’s books with overly aggressive and obsessive Alpha males are a guilty pleasure I can proudly admit to loving, as well as a fantasy to look forward to with each book.
Ryan and Ashley’s story was a good way to start the book. Ryan has been constantly pursing Ashley; however, with her resisting his pursuit, it has been driving him crazy as she is holding back. As Ryan is unable to resist her he takes matters into his own hands.
Julie and Gibson’s story was interesting. Julie was younger and Gibson was older and he has a very hard time staying away because she is Ashley’s cousin. However, the moment Gibson got his chance to pursue Julie he took it regardless of what anyone thought.
Monica and Kyle’s story was sexy. With a hot firefighter, an old childhood crush, and sexy text messages, this was another fun story to read. I think the epilogue was cute and I enjoyed it. The story definitely lived up to the title.

Okay, I admit it, I like my men, aggressively alpha male and the men in these stories; Ryan, Gibson and Kyle had this in spades... *drool* ... this anthology was beyond HOT! So glad I read it!!

it has happy ending of course, but why the process is so fast? not natural for me, because it seems for all the characters, every man that captures their heart or the men that fall hard for them are their true love. huwaaa. and those 3 stories repeat the plot, only different characters and situations. but it all seems same for me.

Ryan + Ashley, Gibson + Julie, and Kyle + Monica...
Kyle and Monica were definitely my favorites, there was nothing but mutual attraction and no bullshit.
I got whiplash when it came to Gibson and Julie. The “I want you-but can’t have you” was old fast and that is saying something because it was an extremely short read.
For some reason I loved when Ryan told Ashley off before she slammed the door in his face (lol). I just liked a hero that got pissed enough to say I’m not waiting around for you, even if he did.
Kyle and Monica were definitely my favorites, there was nothing but mutual attraction and no bullshit.

This was cute, and I usually love Lynda Chance stories. Her men are real men, and her women are just adorable. They are sassy, too.
Three couples in this one, with short stories for each and then an epilogue for them all. Each was cute and essentially about girls who grew up in love with the older guys who never gave them a chance.
Fun read, about average but not fantastic. It went fast…

3.5 Stars! The Thrill of the Chase is a collection of three interconnected stories about three female roommates and the men who win their hearts. It's got the signature Chance alpha males, steamy sex, and sweet romance. THESE REVIEWS MAY NOT BE ENTIRELY SPOILER FREE!
Summaries:
Ryan and Ashley: This shorts starts with the reader being informed that Ryan has been dating Ashley for four weeks after meeting her at the club one night, and he's getting impatient with her for putting him off every time he makes an advance. Ryan's fearful that Ashley is just playing him to get more of his time and a commitment he doesn't want to give. Ashley wants Ryan more than anything but his intense, unwavering attention is scary to her, and she doesn't know what to do. Unfortunately she begins to realize why she has been putting him off and decides to end things. Ashley lives with her younger cousin Julie and her best friend Monica. Julie and Monica decide, after a week, Ashley needs to stop moping and get out of the house. Ashley agrees, but when she runs into Ryan again at the club and comes face to face with his possession and jealousy, will she give into his demands or let fear make her run from him again? An incident at Ashley's house pushes the couple into serious discussions and leads into the next story.
Gibson and Julie: This short picks up in about the middle of Ryan and Ashley's courtship. Gibson has cornered Julie in a hallway to try and alienate her into giving up the chase for him. He sees how she looks at him, and he wants her in a guttural, soul-wrenching way. Unfortunately, Julie's off-limits because Ryan asked Gibson to back off for fear of it messing up his chances with Ashley. Julie can't believe how much of an asshole, jerk Gibson is being and resolves to end her fantasy about him immediately. Still wanting to protect her in any way he can, Gibson drives them home in Julie's car (Ryan left him at the club to be with Ashley), and says he will bring her car back the next day. When he shows, Julie is stunned to find that he had her car taken to the shop and he's now offering his extra vehicle. Julie couldn't possibly drive his car, which is a corvette, and she never realized how well off and well-educated he was. Depressed that he is way out of her league, she agrees to the car just to get away and not fight. Gibson is unusually pleased at her driving his property paid with his money. When Gibson brings her car back to switch, her plan to show her gratitude doesn't quite go well. With the attraction sizzling between them and the need and want ratcheting up higher all the time, Gibson and Julie have a difficult time walking away from each other. When possible danger occurs at Julie's apartment, it gives the two a chance to be together, but they will have to decide if it's just lust or much more because them being together could mean Gibson losing his best friend.
Kyle and Monica: Monica is bridesmaid at her best friend's, Ashley, wedding when she makes eye contact with her dream man. Now that her two roommates are married and Julie has even started a family, Monica wants what they have for herself. She's dated, but holding every guy up to the one man she's always wanted and could never have isnt working real well for her. Kyle Weldon is Ashley's older brother. He watched Monica grow from a gangly kid to the stunning woman she is, and he's wanted her for a while now. Relationships, job circumstances, and age have gotten in the way before, but now they are both single, Monica is older, and nothing will hold him back from claiming her like he's wanted for years. Monica is amazed at the intensity she feels coming off Kyle in his perusal of her, and when he drags her from Ashley's reception for a searing kiss, she knows she wouldnt stand a chance denying him. Not that she wants to. Kyle makes it clear that they will be together, and soon, but before they have the chance, Kyle is called away by work (he's a firefighter). Over the next week while Kyle is working in Colorado, communication is scarce, but Kyle does express his demand that Monica wait for him, not date, and be ready when he comes back to town. Monica is nervous. She has loved Kyle for years, but there is no gaurantee he feels the same way. Ashley and Julie try to reassure her, but it doesnt stop her nerves. All Monica can do is pray Kyle stays safe and makes it back to her so they can see where their relationship is going.
These stories were short, sweet romances. The alpha males involved were possessive and uber sexy. My only criticism is that the first story started kind of abruptly for me and the last story ended abruptly before jumping into the future for the epilogue. Still, nice easy read. <3

YAY YAY YAY YAY
So just by chance (*wink wink) I stumbled upon this book:
Once again, Lynda Chance has done it again. She has delivered a beautiful anthropology that was so delightful and delicious it made the favourites shelf straight up after the first page.
I loved everything about this book and like Lynda Chance's usual heroes - they were all possessive, sexy, hot and alpha-to-the-extreme...x3
Yes ladies and gents, there are three delicious stories all connected and I loved the feeling of togetherness that Chance brought.
True, this book was incredible :)
Our heroines are all close friends with Ashley (heroine numero 1) being cousins with Julie (heroine numero 2) and both being best friends with Monica (heroine numero 3)
And likewise, it felt like all of their paths were destined to cross as Ryan (hero A for alpha) was best friends with Gibson (hero B for bad-ass) and knew of Kyle - Ashley's brother - (hero C for Can-I-Have-you?)
Wow this feels like maths
The only problem was that it was far too short - as expected however, I could have read on for days
Anywaaaay, each couple had their own unique style and vibe thing going on and yet they were all similar and different at the same time.
As per Lynda's heroes, they were downright illegal in their sexyness. I. Could. Not. Even.

4 1/2 stars,This was a great book with three novellas about three friends and room mates that find love. Ashley and Ryan met at a club and instantly liked each other but Ashley can't give herself to Ryan till she knows he wants more than just in her pants. Julie is Ashley's younger cousin and the night Ashley meets Ryan, Julie meets Gibson Ryan's friend but Gibson is to busy with work to make his move then When Ashley and Ryan are having problems Ryan asks Gibson to leave Julie alone for fear that Gibson will hurt Julie and make Ashley upset. Gibson agrees and immediately regrets it. Now he has to decide if he can and should keeps his word to Ryan. Monica has been best friend with Ashley since they were kids and she's loved Ashley's brother just about as long. Kyle knew his feelings for Monica had changed but knew he had to wait till she was old enough then it seemed like one of them was always in a relationship till he see's Monica again at a wedding and he decides that he's done waiting. This was a great book though each couple gets their own story we get more from each couple in all three stories. The epilogue is great because we get to see how and were everyone is in the future. Like all Lynda Chance books the Heroes are crazy possessive and I loved them all. Each story was fantastic but my favorite was Gibson and Julie.

Ryan has to prove to Ashley that he wants more from her than just a physical relationship and he wants long term. When they finally come together its very hot and very sweet.
Gibson is Ryan's best friend and he wants Julie, but Ryan has warned him to stay away and not hurt Julie since he's serious about Ashley. Gibson fights his attraction for Julie as long as he can, but knowing Julie feels the same way he does makes it hard. Finally, Gibson decides to go after Julie regardless of Ryan and he and Julie are perfect together. Gibson knew getting together with Julie would be mind blowing.
Monica has been in love with Ashley's brother Kyle for as long as she can remember, even though he was a few years older. Kyle has wanted Monica for years but the timing was never right. This was a great read with 3 separate couples almost blending as one book. I found Ryan a little hard to take to first and I can understand and appreciate the way that Ashley stood up to him and made him work for it. Gibson and Julie were a super cute couple and they had such a hard time resisting each other. As for Monica and Kyle's story, my heart hurt for them and all the lost years but I can understand how life has a way of messing up ones plans. Add in a little forbidden older brother trope and it makes one hot story!

This is a great story about three friends who are all falling in love. Ashley and Ryan are at first slightly running from the inevitable or at least Ashley is. Julie and Gibson are falling in love but Gibson is trying to fight it for the sake of friendship. Monica and Kyle have been fighting their attraction for years and the are done fighting. It is time for all the couples to find their own happy ending. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to fall in love again

3 steamy stories with alpha males like only Lynda can write. They stalk, claim and devour what's theirs. The third story and couple is friends to lover and safe with exception being they BOTH were in relationships over the years while BOTH of them had feelings for each other. But this story itself is completely safe being that no OW or OM show up and they jump into their love story immediately

It's good but not exactly my favorite. I still feel that these men are a bit overbearing and insecure. They keep telling their girls to stay away from another guy. I was like, why you just don't believe your girl? Geez.
But I still loved the way they dominate the girls without being 'dom', you know what I mean? Because I'm not into BDSM so I'm grateful for that fact. ;)
