Christian Worldview vampire saga. "Magnificently written. Totally romantic. The most beautiful vampire romance I'd ever read." "Masterpiece of fine writing." Devastated after losing her mother, Rose Heart’s life was pretty much over in the godforsaken tundra of West Lake, Minnesota. But when she’s caught red-handed by her coach father with Chaz Calloway, a mysterious quarterback from the rival team, love’s never been more dangerous. Their world falling apart, there's a murder at sudden death overtime. A vow of undying love on a rose. And a secret that will surely get them both killed. But can Rose really make the ultimate sacrifice and give a vampire her blood? With heart pounding passion, the Hypnotic series perfectly captures the deadly struggle between rebelling against the rules and fighting for forbidden love. It was a cute take on Romeo and Juliet with a couple twists - football and vampirism. It really wasn't a book for me and that could be due to my age.

I really got sidetracked during the scene at the ball. Rose was so Naive at times and I found that kind of frustrating. Coach Heart drove me insane and then you can't help but feel really bad for him in one scene near the end of the book.

Honestly, it wasn't as violent as some of the reviews make it out to be...yes there is some definate underlying hostilty and even a near date rape type scene...but nothing descript to make you flee in horror.

If you enjoy romeo and juliet, and football talk, then this could be a good book for you to read.

I'm having a really hard time getting into this book. The writing style seems abstract--disjointed. The only way I can think to describe it is to say that I feel as though I'm floating above the story. I can't quite tie into what's going on with the characters, and that is making it hard for me to sink my teeth into the book. It seems as though random things are happening with no explanation as to why--or even any foreshadowing to clue me in! I'm hoping it gets better, but I started a different book in the meantime. Maybe I'll get back around to this one.

i just dont get it in the beginning it was getting nowhere and it was sort of boring and the prologue was so freaking confusing and so after i read the prologue it reminded me of romeo & juliet like come on change it up a little and this book should have been free cuz its really short and mostly boring

Masterpiece of fine writing. Great romance between a coach's daughter and a vampire. Moves quick. I'll be looking forward to sequel with rapt abandon!

Caveat: If you're looking for a demonic read, look elsewhere. This one is pure romantic bliss.

Took me a bit to get through, too wordy at times. I liked the premise and end though.

Very abusive. Totally disturbing. I'll have to see if there's a second book to make up my mind on it.
