What Butch and Vishous deserved but never got!!
Lovers Redeemed is really authentic because it reads exactly like a book from the brotherhood. If you aren’t paying attention you would think it’s a part of the series.
This one burns so good, but it’s worth it because Vishous deserved all of this, Butch deserved all of this. They’re motherfucking soulmates man!!!

Though this is a fanfic, I chose to believe this is the real story of V and Butch. I love “True”, another great fanfic, but this one...omg, Vane did such an amazing job it’s hard to believe this is not a real book.
If you have read the BDB books you know damn well, V and Butch should have been together. All the elements were there, the bond, the sexual tension, the looks...but in the end Butch got Marissa (blegh) and V got Jane, aka Casper. Not fair. Not fair at all.
But thanks to the gods, Vane took the matter in her own hands and created this incredible story. It’s so in character and it’s the epic love story my boys deserve.

First two things out of the way: 1). This was a translation and 2). This is fan-fiction
That being said, I loved this book! I found the link to the original webpage by VaneCaos and then the translation by chapter by Vhis into English within the BDB Group thread.
But reading it as Word documents drove me crazy so that I pulled them into Scrivener and created a book and then exported it out as an epub. I actually had a really good time doing it.
What really bothered me about the inspiration series (JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood) is that I really wanted V and Butch to fall in love. In fact, it almost felt like Ward was writing that way. When Butch's book came out I was so disappointed and hated Marissa.
That's why Lover Redeemed is so great, it made a believable version of the story where V and Butch make it. Their relationship is believable within the context of the original story. The writing is pretty damn good, especially considering that it is a translation. Although I admit I did do some editing because I figure the translator's original language is not English either.
The sex scenes are hot as hell in this book, and I can really see how the BDSM aspect really works for both men. I do think that for best enjoyment, you should have read all of the JR Ward BDB series.

OMG! Не думала, что скажу такое, но это великолепно!
Где-то определенно произошел разрыв пространственно-временного континуума, потому что случилось немыслимое – я прочла фанфик. И, более того, он мне понравился!
Я сильно не люблю данный жанр и могу по пальцам пересчитать читанные произведения. Но особенно я ненавижу те фанфы, что относятся к категории «Out of Character» (коих, имхо, абсолютное большинство). Так вот, здесь другой случай. Персонажи, их поведение, речь, стиль письма, все вполне «в каноне» и похоже на то, как написала бы сама Уорд если и не на 100%, то достаточно близко, чтобы я поминутно не восклицала «WTF?!».
Хотя с одним моментом я все же не согласилась бы, да и мельтешение POVов вначале тоже не идет произведению на пользу, но бог с ними. Шикарный обоснуй и hot-as-hell притяжение между персонажами искупают все! (Отдельное спасибо хочется сказать VaneCaos за то, что она явно не испытывает скрытой неприязни к виду крови, в отличие от многих авторов «вампирских» романов). Также любопытно вылавливать многочисленные фразочки и мысли из пятой книги Братства, мастерски вплетенные в фанфик по всему тексту.
Конечно, жаль, что я не прочла это произведение на волне горячего увлечения BDB (и парой Вишес/Бутч, в частности), но оценку я поставила ту, которую выставила бы тогда.

Empecemos por el principio, tenía este ebook pendiente desde el 2015 y realmente me esperaba una interesante historia entre V y B, pero al final todo se ha centrado sobre todo en los chicos -Qhuinn, Blaylock y John-, más que en estos grandes machos, de todas formas, me ha gustado mucho, y eso a pesar de su enorme extensión, jaja.
Luego de haber leído la historia oficial entre Qhuinn y Blay, ha resultado más que interesante conocer esta, que posee más del triple de drama que la original, y DRAMA con todas las letras y en varios sentidos.
VaneCaos ha creado un contexto más que verosímil para todo lo que se cuece a lo largo de estas páginas, y algunos cierres -y no cierres- de personajes, me dejaron con ganas de ver más de este mundo alternativo XD
Y la prosa, más que llevadera, hace que la lectura permita involucrarse completamente con todo aquello por lo que pasan los personajes, inclusive con lo que le sucede a los malos.
Sinceramente, este es un libro más que recomendable para los fans de la saga, especialmente para los amantes de la pareja de Q&B y de aquellos que alguna vez fantasearon con algo más que amistad entre Vishous y el poli.
Como última cosa, solo puedo decir que me parece haber leído esto en el momento justo =) Súper recomendable.

FIVE STARS!!!!!!!!!!
I rarely write reviews on books unless I find them incredible. As a rule if I don't have something good to day I prefer not to.
But this book moved me!!!!!!! I have loved all J.R. Wards books and some were 5 stars and some 4. It was only Vishious's story that I did not understand. It seemed like a tragedy that Butch and V could never be. Well Lover Redeemed is Fan Fiction written by VaneCaos. I wish I could just reach out to this author and hug them for doing right by these characters and staying so "true" to the storyline. She did an amazing job bringing all the old characters to life and showing us how these two damaged, tough and YES beautiful guys can find true love at last!
The book was so hard to put down that all I wanted to do is read it and found myself sneaking off to read it every time I got a free minute only to totally loose track of time till one of my kids yelling """MOMMMM!!!.
I found the dialogue and some details so interesting that I found myself re-reading sections several times and discovering something new every time. Now that I'm done I am feeling a sence of loss and I may just re-start it again!
This book also made me really understand Quinn and Blay's story too as there were questions I had that were answered.
A few warnings is that the book is a translation from Spanish and so initially I had to make some mental adjustments to ignore some of the grammar mistakes. Since English is my second language I get it! Also the book's first page was odd and I almost did not continue with it. I am so glad I did. It turns out the author ties in that first page to the last...amazing!
I am now desperate to read more from this author VANECAOS. I have not yet been able to find anything in English but maybe someone can help me. I remain and will always be a huge WARD fan. But I thank this author so much for the amazing gift of LOVER REDEEMED.....gracias!!!

I really enjoyed the story. V and Butch had wonderful and emotional scenes. It was great that the story was like a real book. We saw all the Brothers, had different POVs and a storyline next to V and Butch getting together.
There were some things that felt a bit off to me. I also know that the story was originally written in Spanish and then translated into English. I appreaciate all the effort that was put into this story but it would still be good if an English native speaker could proofread it.

Esta es la historia que tanto V como Butch se merecian, y sin lugar a dudas VaneCaos les hizo justicia.
Pare ser honesta (y a riesgo de recibir piedrazos..jajaja) encontre la pluma de Vane incluso superior a Ward. La manera en que la autora captura la esencia de ambos personajes es una maravilla. Tanto V como Butch poseen profundidad, sentimientos y una historia por contar.
Sin lugar a dudas Vane maneja a la perfeccion el ritmo de la trama, creando desde la espectativa hasta suspiros por doquier.
El ingrediente extra de que este libro haya sido escrito por una fanatica asegura el marco de saber que cada detalle esta cuidado, no hay cabos sueltos ni incoherencia. Vane sabe lo que quiere, y por ende sabe lo que queremos y necesitamos como lectores.
Adore este libro de principio a fin, es una lectura adictiva que no decepciona, felicidad asegurada!

Amantes Redimidos es una historia Vutch.... Vane Caos escribió tan bien esta historia que fácilmente podría ser un libro más de la saga original.
Amo este universo alternativo que creó allá por el año 2010 cuando Ward nos había dejado con ganas de que la historia de ellos fuera mucho más alla de lo que ella escribió en sus libros.
Tiene todos los condimentos necesarios para ser una historia perfecta.... Entre sus páginas encontrás DRAMA, picante, acción y romance, todo muy bien equilibrado.
Es un libro más que recomendado si sos amante de La Hermandad. No te decpciona ni un poquito.

Loved the Vutch focus. I stayed away from reading BDB fanfics because I wasn't sure if anyone would be able to keep the same feel as the BDB books. The cussing, fights, dress, demeanor and interactions of the characters posed a challenge in my opinion.
It was translated from Spanish so it needs to be proof read and edited but VaneCaos did a good job.
I enjoyed reading this story and look forward to more from VaneCaos.

I'd pay for a better translation! That was the only part that sucked; mentally making adjustments to the text because of the translation. But I'm grateful to whoever bothered to translate it at all since it was exceptional. I truly enjoyed this and thought the author remained very true to the characters of Butch and Vishous.

Love the brothers V and butch are the best of the brotherhood series even though some of us wanted this to be real in the real books it didn't happen but its ok. That's why there is fan-fiction out there to indulge our fantasy. This story was perfect ending for them. If u want them together this is the book for you.

I stopped reading book 5 of the black dagger brotherhood because I just wanted V and Butch to be together... And then I found this novel. It was a wild ride, hot, romantic and fun everything you want from a romance novel.

Esta es la historia que Vishous se merecía, no el intento de encajarlo en la normalidad que sinceramente no le quedaba. Me encantó como Vane desarrolló esa conexión profunda que Butch y V tenían, le dio sentido y argumentos. La separación de él poli y Marissa me dejó totalmente satisfecha, los motivos y el crecimiento que dieron a entender fueron tan reales y sanos que dan ganas de tenerlos como ex a los dos 😅
El crecimiento de V, la manera en que poco a poco Butch lo ayuda a superar todas esas crisis y traumas es exquisito y bien fundado.
La pluma de la autora hace difícil no creer que este sea un libro oficial de la saga de la hermandad, y la lucha con los restructores que se dio en este libro fue magnífica, planificada y desarrollada de punta en blanco.
Y ese extra 🤤🤤🤤🤤 Todo lo que siempre quise y no sabía que necesitaba hasta que lo leí.
Este es el libro que voy tomar como la verdadera historia de Vishous y Brian O'Neal, y nadie va a cambiar mi opinión.

Esta historia fanfic me dio todo lo que la historia original no. ESTO ES UNA LOCURAAAA
La historia se nos enfoca en la pareja de Vishous y Butch, como al inicio ellos dos van teniendo, más V, sentimientos por el uno y como esa llama se va prendiendo con el proceso, igual tenemos otros puntos de vista de la hermandad y de los villanos, la manera de como le dieron guerra y varios salieron lastimado en el proceso.
Hubo bastantes risas y eso me gustó bastante, que esa esencia no se perdiera del todo como en la historia original. Ahora, hay temas que se tocan en la vida de V que desconozco si sucede en las historias originales (yo lo dejé en el 4.º libro, la historia de Butch y Marissa) y en esta historia hay temas que quedé muy WOW no me esperaba esos giros tan fuertes y si la historia de V de su pasado es la misma de su historia original, LA VIRGEN LOCA ESA SE ME PUEDE IR AL INFIERNOOOOOOO.
En fin, si te gustó la conexión de Butch y Vishous para algo más intento y en plan pareja, este es el fanfic que debes de leer.

I didn’t enjoy the unnecessary angst towards the end. Some of the things V and Bush said to each other were too harsh and in too vulnerable of a timing to be easily forgiven or overlooked. I would’ve enjoyed less of that unnecessary push/pull and maybe just a longer slow burn and coming to terms with feelings and attraction. Aside from that, this was the story that these two lovebirds deserved!! The English translation was great and it read just like the author’s work and not at all like fanfic.

Encontrar una alternativaa la pareja mas sexy de machos de la HDN ha sido un gran placer.Encontrar de Nuevo a V, que te provoca un escalofrio por su poder y sufrimiento (quiet dice que las mujeres no queremos salvar a todo hombre maltrecho Del use nos oenamoramos) .Aunque al principio no Estaba muy convencida, demasiado argot, un Vishious algorithm locals, este relato va ganando en fuerza y profundidad y encuentras a los PERSONAJES originates en Sus actos. Creo que boy a preferir esta linea argumental a la original de la Ward....Aunque aun me queda partede la historia.

God... 10 000 gold stars for this author and story. I loved it. Much better than real books. I rooted for Butch and Vishous from the moment they met in original BDB series by Ward. This book was absolutely mindblowing. Yes. It needs more editing. Like lots and lots and lots. But for f*ck's sake. It was absolutely beautiful.
