Translating Rimbaud's 'Illuminations' by Clive Scott
This book is a sequal to Clive Scott's Translating Baudelaire (UEP, 2000), and a further development of its translational techniques. It argues for the intimate connections between literary translation and experimental writing, using a selection of Rimbaud's Illuminations to explore the different ways in which the translator can re-imagine and re-project source texts.
