They keep telling me I broke his heart.Well, he broke mine first.AndyI never wanted to come back to Silver Bend.To say high school was awful would be a grand understatement.I was the star of a scandal that nearly destroyed me.It just figures that co-star of that little soap opera is the donor I’m stuck working with.Bo Thomas. The golden child. The one who got whatever he wanted.Including my heart.I can’t stand being near him again. But with my job in the balance, it’s not looking like I have much of a choice. The only thing that ever made perfect sense, every time, was when she was in my arms.BoMy parents’ divorce battle might as well have been front page news.Just wait until everyone realizes my mom donated some of our best farmland to a bunch of bird lovers. The real punchline to the joke is that the foundation’s project lead also happens to be the one girl I never got over. For as long as I can remember, she’s been the girl of my dreams.Even after dragging her through the mud, I still want her.I never ever meant for her to get hurt. But it happened like that anyway.I know it’s not fair. Or right. But my heart wants what it wants. And I have never, not for one second, stopped wanting her.The Second Dance is a scorching-hot slow burn romance about two opposites getting a second chance at love. Vicious rumors cut their relationship short. He was the only man she ever loved and the only man who ever broke her heart. Andy escaped her past, leaving her hometown and the rumors behind. When a work project throws them back together, it seems history is about to repeat itself.
This book is a great addition to the series, Andy is back to her hometown for work, and none to happy about it, especially having to deal with Bo, her first... She's caught in the middle of the family feud between Bo's divorced but still warring parents. She learns an important lesson about friendship, as the rumor mill is alive and well in Silver Bend. I like how confident Andy is, as opposed to her shy self in high school. I loved this story from the first page to the very end. As they try and work together while ignoring their chemistry, they eventually cannot resist each other. However, Andy's supposed best friend Whitney continues to disrupt them spreading malicious gossip.

Amazing with all the drama surrounding this couple! The hurt and misunderstanding go so far to tear apart a lot but then finally get it right with all the right about of heat needed for a relationship with great couple! The storyline and character development are great!a must read
A unexpected drive one night in high school was the beginning for Andy and Bo until word got out and destroyed that night. Now years later Andy is back in town for work and the feelings these two had are still there. This is their second chance!!!
On page 8, MMC is celebrating his birthday. His friend introduces the MMC “the blonde’s name is Peyton. Happy birthday bud. He knows my type. Short and curvy.” It’s gross to think about him hooking up with a look alike to “his first love.” I didn’t finish.
