Can a pair of vibrating panties help Melodie find the man of her dreams?
A matchmaking party was not Melodie's idea of fun, and wearing vibrating panties was just plain weird. Or was it?
Should she go to the party? After all, she just might meet Mr. Right. And if he doesn't show, she has the vibrating panties to keep things interesting.
This one by Casey Sheridan does not disappoint. The thing I like most about it is its unpredictability. You never know where you're going, but your pleased when you arrive and you never know what to expect, but you always get more. The scenes are hot, to be sure, something I've come to expect from Sheridan, buy she also delivers the literary goods, something I wouldn't expect to find done so well in this genre. Make no mistake the writing is top shelf. Check it out, "Icy fingers of dread wrapped themselves around her heart, her blood running cold," and "Giant marble columns supported a pastoral painted ceiling. Radiant crystal and gold chandeliers hung from ornate plaster medallions like bejeweled earrings." (Come on now ... not your everyday erotica.)
I love how Sheridan creates stunning, but not perfect characters (who wants perfection anyway?)." The sensuous mouth split into a wide grin that showed off white but not quite so perfect teeth;" This is the second piece of work I've read from Sheridan and I'm already on my way back for more.
Ms. Sheridan has done it again! What a great little sexy read. It left me so wanting more from this hero. (Yes, Ms. Sheridan...that was a subtle hint or suggestion to write a sequel on this guy!)
I knew I wanted to read this, from the minute I read the blurb. Think it was the vibrating panties that snagged my attention. Such a fun idea.
And that's the way I would describe this book. A fun read. I immediately liked the heroine and I wanted her to get her happy ever after. The author did a good job of keeping the reader wondering who the hero was. I had a few... surely not?... moments whilst reading it and for quite a short read, there were some great twists. I read this in one sitting, whilst feeding the baby, who fell asleep, and I just sat there, because I had to finish the book.
Great humour, hot sex, and a truly original concept. Well worth a read :-)
