This book gives an excellent summary of the various issues you encounter in the workplace and how to deal with them with confidence, including how to: recognise your own successes, bounce back from disappointment, deal with difficult people, build trust, handle feedback, work in a negative environment, deal with stress, prioritise etc.

In dealing with a multitude of insecurity inducing situations, Caunt tackles each in a fairly high-level manner. As someone moving into a more senior role in a corporate environment I made notes on the topics to build on in the future when I inevitably deal with such issues.

I wish I had read this book when I first started my career in the financial services as I'm sure it would have helped me navigate, what was at the time, a very negative and arduous working environment.

My only criticism is that the blurb and cover of the book is fairly misleading. I was expecting a book on general confidence rather than that specific to the workplace. Nonetheless, it's contents was very applicable to my career and I am glad this was lent to me.
