If you need a single book on everything you need to know about cycling then you can't miss this book. Written by a journalist who loves cycling and took part in a number of races truly provides you with a comprehensive information second to none. He covered and reported on Tours de France not once but six times.

Either you cycle for completing your first personal record or competing at a local, national or even international event, this book gives you everything you need to know on how to get there. It provides necessary information on road racing, mountain bike racing including training plans and so on. It covers also on bike maintenance, cycling techniques including leisure riding. So unfortunate that it did not cover stationary biking and the fitness industry which use bike as the main tools on how to get in shape
