How does a person know if they are called to pastoral work? Robertson answers this question by first defining what ministry is, focusing on its dual responsibilities of preaching and pastoring. Then he turns to the calling—a community process in which one sits under the Word, the Spirit compels them to serve, the church recognizes such gifts, and the person then proclaims the Word to others, and the cycle begins again. A brief, useful read.
