As someone who studied policy but not health, it was a good read. Nice to start with an overview of policy issues specific to health. But then for me the middle as it got into more research tools, I found it less helpful for me.

That said, a freshman or sophomore interested in public policy or health policy this is a great encapsulazation of the basics of everything the policy writer will encounter.
