Психбольница, где разворачиваются события этой книги, всегда была любимой метафорой советских писателей. Что же, автор хочет сказать, что советские времена вернулись? Ни в коем случае - это было бы клеветой на существующий строй. Сейчас другие больницы, другие врачи, другой контингент. И все-таки что-то мучительно, похоже. Особенно спускание разнарядок и организация массовых народных инициатив с моментальным доведением их до идиотизма. Зато похожа и любовь, а она в этой книге тоже есть. При этом автор, естественно, предупреждает, что совпадения образов, характеристик, портретов и имен - абсолютно случайны.
