This book does not go into as much depth as I would have liked but that is to be expected with the small size and shorter page length. Some of the tips of grammar such as the grammar self-assessment were helpful though, and I will likely use this in the future. However, overall, I feel that this book covered many of the same ideas just in different ways leading this book to be rather repetitive.

I received this book to review for my classes. I don't know if my freshmen would love it, but I do think they'd get a lot out of it. The writing is clear and easy to navigate, and most of the activities would help any writer improve. It could be useful in a comp class or in a writing center. I'll certainly consider implementing some of the activities into my writing courses.
