It's pretty clear this was written primarily from the point of view of astrology rather than astronomy. In fact, it only includes 57 of the 88 constellations (and some in forms other than the official constellations). It's not just the Southern Hemisphere constellations that are missing, either - six of the missing constellations are completely within the Northern Hemisphere. There are useful bits of information in here, but their value is considerably hampered by the book not being complete. Even the legends associated with the various constellations are too limited to be of much value.
Not worth the effort required to glean any usable information, unless you're into astrology I assume, in which case it still seems a little light on information.
