I had completely forgotten about these books, but my mom sent them over to our house for my daughter. I instantly remembered them from their covers and how much I loved these charming, cozy books when I was little. I like how their tiny house is full of little things made out of objects we are familiar with. This one was always my favorite. I had (and still have...) a thing for books in which everything is messy and then the characters clean it all up and make a nice, cozy space instead. I find it so satisfying. Seeing the mouse family leave their rained-in home for a dry new one makes me feel happy. The illustrations are soft and lovely.
